Another little known fact Frank Sinatra had flowers placed on Ava's grave on her birthday every year until the day he died. She was the love of his life. She's buried in Smithfield, NC, and there is an Ava Garner museum downtown. That's down southeast of Raleigh, NC. Great tribute to her.

It surely is such a very small world, after all. Especially within the world 🌎 of Hollywood. As a child growing up. I had a great deal of access to the universal lot, My family was involved in the motion picture industry. So throughout the 60s and 70s, the lot and stages, and especially the back lots, were my playground. Doris Day was a close friend of my family and neighbor to my grandparents. During these years, our family shared the same driver which we had for many years prior. Driving us back and forth from Los Angeles Angeles to Palm Springs or to the studios. But at the time of Miss Gardner signed on to be part of the cast of the movie "Earthquake" which was shot and Universal's film. Doris was transitioning more ful time to up the coast in Carmel. So he was not needed as much for her needs,Ava had asked my grandmother if she could utilize their driver. She wanted to have someone who she would be comfortable with and was not random and trustworthy. So, with total agreement wth all He was assigned to drive her during the shoot for the picture. So on multiple occasions. I had the pleasure of riding with her to the studio. She did not mind since we were familiar. And being the precocious young man that I was. She especially appreciated the attention and sincere genuine consideration that I provided her. It was very evident to me at this time of this lovely lady's life that she had reservations and concerns of her appearance on screen during the shoot. As the shooting schedule progressed, I saw this to play out in real time. And sadly, it was so unnecessarily self-inflicted. She was truly still a STAR and still beautiful. As the shooting schedule progressed, she did require some encouragement? It did become challenging for her to adhere to the shooting schedule times. Even now, I look back in awe and in shock. How people's lives can cross each other's. Now simply moments in time that have become so cherished memories.

2:31 - 2:33 "Her next relationship was with George S. Scott." Note to "Facts Verse" -- the acclaimed actor's name is George C. Scott. 2:57 - 3:06 "They (Gardner and Frank Sinatra) were both drunk and drove from Palm Springs to Indio, California and shot out street lights and store windows with a pair of .38 rifles." Note to "Facts Verse" -- ."38 revolvers." [It's pretty hard; no ,it's impossible, to conceal rifles in a convertible whereas smaller handguns can be slipped into the car's glove compartment, Franks's holster or Ava's purse.] THAT mistake isn't in Sinatra's or Gardner's biographies. Secondly, .38 Specials aka .38s are commonly-referred to and WIDELY KNOWN handguns; ".38 rifles" DO NOT EXIST [tmi: there are 38-40 rifles; there are .38 Special rifles, but NO .38s]. So how in the world did "Facts Verse" take it upon themselves to 'blow it' -- invent 'out of thin air' a non-existent gun?' This must be such a low budget operation the company doesn't employ a proof reader or copy editor. Or, those they do are imbeciles. Once again "Facts Verse" should be titled "Facts Reverse." After dozens of bloopers with "Facts Verse" output over the years I'm convinced listed 'narrator' TIM BLANE (@ 0:03 - 0:08) is A.I. -- or the biggest lightweight intellectually when it comes to general knowledge of Hollywood lore. He's never heard of Oscar winner ("Patton," 1970) George C. Scott, who won two Emmys, too ("12 Angry Men," 1998 and "Hallmark Hall of Fame" 'The Price,' 1971)? THAT is unbelievable.

Please explain what Jesse Watters has to do with Ava Gardner. What is the point of inserting news hosts, predominantly Fox News but also have seen NBC's Lester Holt, on your videos? To make it seem like they are worthy of being called news? As you never cite sources, your "information " is not necessarily the truth but more than likely pure speculation. "Facts" is a misnomer.

After 8 min+ of this diatribe and a whole load of well known info, I still do not know what the deathbed confession was, let alone its "shocking truth." What I heard neither shocked nor added to what I knew. If it had to do with her regarding Frank Sinatra as the love of her life, yeah, everyone knows that, and also that they fought like cats on heat. I thought it might have to do with her reported preference for men of other races, but not a word about in this piece.

Why bother 😆😆😆 its true what they say, its just "your turn". 🤣 Never marry them. If u want to, make them sign a prenup. If they want to leave ok cool, but they cant take ur things u worked hard for. They can go earn their own instead of trying to finesse you. Benefits are INSIDE the relationship never outside of it. Frank was the best she could have gotten and she still messed that up. 🙄🔥

I don't even think you're being subjective. Beauty in human beings is a quality that approaches, to lesser or greater degree, abstract, transcendent beauty. Both those women had exceptional beauty, enough to take your breath away, to transport you, to make you see something eternal and true, however fleetingly. I wonder if the fair-to-middling actresses of today reflect the democratisation of the culture. Or even that since we're forgetting divinity we don't see that beauty, per se, is divine.
