Today came with a healthy Halwa Recipe. We can make Halwa using variety if items. Sharing the links of different kind of Halwa below.. Today we are going to make Halwa using Rava or Sooji. For that we are using local Rava or Bombay Rava. Unroasted Rava u can use for the Halwa preparation.
In this Halwa we are not using any food colour. Natural golden brown colour is made using a unique technique.
To make it more healthy we can use nuts, kismis and till. These are all optional. Without these also Halwa is delicious.
As it's a home made Halwa we are using ghee for the preparation. I prefer ghee as kids will get the goodness of ghee. U can replace it using oil. Also sugar can be replaced with h
Jaggery to make it more healthy
Rava 1 cup
Water 2 cup
Soak for at least 1 hour
Water 1/2 cup
Coconut milk 1/2 cup(optional)
Can replace with normal water
Sugar 1/2 cup
Hot water 1/2 cup
Sugar 1.5 cup
Ghee 5Tbsp
Elaichi powder 1/2 Tsp
Chopped badam, white till and some Tutti fruity(optional)
