This represents an historic collectors' event in Lionel history. I've never heard of a better documented moment in Lionel history of future collectibility in the toy train hobby. These locomotives and their packaging will certainly be sought after a hundred years from now by future generations of Lionel aficionados as highly valuable iconic items. Well done Eric, and congratulations to the recipients of these gorgeous kocomotives. They will become heirlooms to generations of lucky owners.

One thing people may not realize about the Big Boy is that the whistle uses superheated steam instead of normal steam. What that means is that you can't see the steam coming out of the whistle, AND having the valve BARELY open makes the whistle very loud. It's crazy how the thing works, especially the stoker system from when it ran on coal. Love the NW2 custom run. Looks and sounds great. Are you a left-handed person, Eric?

The NW2 is absolutely beautiful Eric, I love the color and the logo Lionel did an amazing Job on it. Can't wait to see the running session video and seeing all the AWRX locomotives together, that'll look cool. Maybe your next engine could a steam engine, that would be cool. An AWRX Big Boy would be really cool but that's probably way out of reach 🤣. Anyway, even though I've said it many times already, but congratulations Eric on this milestone. Great video.

I look around sometimes on ebay or manufactures sites for an EMD SW 1001, but I don't see any. I see SW1 SW 7 SW 9 SW 1200 and SW 1500. Yet, I have never seen an EMD SW 1001. Oh, I've seen individual the advertise as EMD SW 1001, but they're SW 9s or SW 1500s. Does Lionel or MTH produce an actual SW 1001? If so and I had at lease $700.00 for it. I would get a CONRAIL # 9414 or 9424 because I had pleasure riding in the cabs back in the day.
