Um, where do we buy this? Pre-orders are already sold out from what I can tell and I just got my Mythic Tier box last week. Will Avalon Hill, Hasbro, etc, set up something to let us know when it back in stock or will we have to wait until mid 2022 to start our search again?

And years later the Guardian Knight is really and truly sold out "forever." However a helmeted version of the Knight hero is included with every copy of "Rise of the Dread Moon" expansion. thank you Avalon Hill for making it right by the fans!

I'm a costumer from Spain and Heroquest fan, and here we didn't have the possibility to enter in Heroquest Pulse campaign. At last, the game will be release here next year, but just the core box, without campaign extra miniatures and add-ons. I communicated my anger to Hasbro and maybe we are second class costumers, because they said there are no plans to release that material. It's very frustrating not be able to get that longer waiting stuff for lot of Spanish fans

Yeah this product shouldn't had been advertised since it never was intended for a limited release. Basically Hasbro wanted to see if there would be a demand for unique characters sold separately from the original Heroquest game.

This expansion game was not advertised on the Hasbro or Avalon Hill USA websites. I checked and they show nothing about this expansion. I was looking to see if anyone had the other expansions for sale through Pre-Order and just happened across this expansion by mistake. The site I was on was sold out, but by luck, I found another seller that still had some Pre-Order opportunities left. I got my order in and then they also sold out. I am afraid this expansion was being offered to either the European Community or a very select group of fans because other than this KZbin video there was no advertisement warning that this game would be available. I just hope I get the expansion because Pre-Orders are not always guaranteed.

We've only been waiting a year, you'd think common courtesy would have given us at least a heads up, instead of finding out 3 days after it sold out. Another dropped ball for Hasbro customer service.

No translation of all miniatures sold sepretaley in spanish, german, french or italian. You have promised an another release of this product : where it is ? You have included this character into the moon of the terror expansion but well, this is not what the fan community was expecting. Why not international versions of all those miniatures after all this time ? This isn't kind for others who are not into english speaking.

So, Hasbro and Avalon Hill, since you can't legally sell these sets due to a legal contract, when are you going to release an official STL file of the miniatures for free to help fight scalpers? Serious question, because $150-$300 is FAR too much for a $15 item.

Is there rules for a 5+ character party or is it still limited to 4 max?

I think the game is generally designed for 4 character party. The rooms aren't that big for multiple people to move around. But you can homebrew 5+ party. I could see a scenario where groups of Heroes enters at two different points of the dungeon and then they fight their way to the center. The Zargon player could even make it a contest over which party "wins" the adventure.

Officially the game is meant to be 4 Hero players with no duplicates (2 of the same hero) & 1 Zargon player (5 players) Unofficially, people have been house ruling in extra hero's for decades. Actually, recently I ran a game for my nephew's & they both really wanted to be Barbarian's & the older one had no issue with being a female Barbarian so we house ruled it with 2 Barbarian's. They had a blast.

@@yodaflyz I can see having extra dwarf and barbarians since they don't require anything beyond the normal equipment. It is the spell casters where things get a bit hairy unless you simply let them write down what spells they have. With the new characters, it would be easier since they come with their own stuff to expand it.

@@jasonsumma1530 I Think KZbin Eat my response before work (probably a glitch). What I was basically trying to say is there are other spells in the older set you can use to give your extra Wizards & Elfs more verity. Mage of the Mirror (US)had 8 Elf only spells (you pick 3) & Wizards of Morcar (UK) had 3 spell sets (3 in each set like the core game) for the Elf & Wizard. (Edited because I double checked & realized Wizard of Morcar was 3 sets not 4)

What if my first languange is not English? Why not characters from other franchises, for example Link&Zelda, Red Sonja, the Witcher, Arya Stark...for collectors.

Why is this a limited run? If you're gonna induce FOMO among your fan base at least make these character and spell cards available digitally and unobstructed so we can still play this class while putting money in another company's pocket buying their miniatures.

Disappointed in this. Had did an impulse buy but once I saw what was included, cancelled. Why did you duplicate the cards, do we really need a male set AND female set for abilities? Why include two shield and two short sword equipment cards when those are already in the main system box? I guess I was just hoping for something better than what boils down to a single new character with limited abilities, like with the old elf pack that had I think 8 elf spells and the elf could choose 3 per quest in place of the original spell sets.

Oh stop. Stephen Baker does an excellent job providing not only a great voice for HeroQuest, but also writing the core quests and breathing life back into the game. I've heard a lot of shitty voice actors over the years, SB isn't one of them.
