The interviewer asks really amazing questions. Wow 👏 And Avan sounds like a very intelligent, deep thinker. Everything he's saying hits deep & hard. This guy seriously needs to have a TED Talk on multiracial identity

This book got me teared up within few pages. I love everything about this book and his thoughts. It has a nostalgic feeling. It makes me nostalgic about something that never happened to me. It felt like it was my childhood.

Something about him reminds you of a young Al Pacino looks wise, but I’ve seen him act for a minute or two and he has something with the right movie project, could be something special. Now he’s writing and it’s just a big plus

I was looking forward for this interview. I'm glad some actors can add dimension to their roles by their litterary work and I hope some of theirs can be adapt as well or get introduced in songs or intercalated in scenes of series or movies. Scenarists are probably readers as well as viewers and we lack tours of their libraries and interviews with them online. In the past, authors and actors got fan clubs where they received letters, criticisms and gifts. I wonder why it's not easier to reach them with the current state of internet and telecommunications. Will surely read and appreciate Mr. Jogia poetry, but I would also like to write him a letter about his book. A good reading suggestion I can make, one that I'll make all of my life, and that adress racist colonialism both in Canada and USA, as well as in the former british empire, in relation to this topic would be : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_Indigenous_Peoples%27_History_of_the_United_States#:~:text=An%20Indigenous%20Peoples'%20History%20of%20the%20United%20States%20is%20a,history%20from%20marginalized%20peoples'%20perspectives. It's both accessible for people that start their reflexion on that issue and push forward a decolonial academic perspective very simply. The wikipedia page make it seems boring, but the book isn't. Maybe some people would like to borough them both at the library.
