AVANERI CHAND BAORI | AVANERI TEMPLE | Alwar | Rajasthan

A sheer architectural beauty and a miraculous step well named Chand Baori is still existing in Avaneri of Rajasthan. It surpassed the ups and downs of a millennium. Just 100 kms away from the capital of the state, you can experience this which will remain alive in your heart a long.
In 8th century the king of this place, Raja Chand built this astonishing gem underground which has many features of it's own. It is believed that he made a temple near this which was demolished ruthlessly by Mahmud Gajni, the fearsome ruler of Gajnavi.
You can get there by train on Delhi Jaipur route through Bandikui railway station. Or you can access there where travelling Jaipur. You need to take a cab for which you can call Mr. Hukum Singh (7340293794), who is a good car operator.
