Gaz, as a Mexican I can’t thank you enough for showing how beautiful our country is, the warmth of our people, and the delicious food. Your respect for Mexico has made me respect you even more as an individual and as a chef. Tortas are one of our favorites, and that bread you made!!!!! The photography of the video is beautiful. Thank you again.

You really immerse yourselves into the Mexican culture, Gaz and Tom. It’s admirable how you speak the language to the best of your ability and you ask for help with words, if necessary. It shows genuine interest and respect to the Mexican people with whom you interact. The couple that you went diving with, the family that you learned to make tortas with, and the couple with whom you stayed, were all such lovely people, and you could see that they enjoyed your excited interest in their lives. This a great series which I am enjoying immensely. You have showcased the Country of Mexico beautifully, guys, with your incredible images and glimpses into the food and culture of Mexico. See you in Episode 4!

Thank you Gaz for visiting Mexico where I'm from. I live outside there since 2010 and I miss a lot all those places, but I'm so so happy you can find them incredible and to show the word all the deliciousness México has and the best part is the people. Bravo!!!! By the way.. my mouth was watering all the time 🤤

Rick Martinez at Food 52 is good at this too. He's not vegan, but he certainly brings the beauty of Mexico to my place in SE Europe too.

Seeing my country from the perspective of someone from the other side of the world was beautiful! Americans water down our culture and don’t respect it as much. Refreshing to see how much you cherished it! ❤ Mexico is for people like you!

I can't underline enough how impressive this series is! And I don't just mean the quality of filming & editing. It just shows again how you really care about where different dishes are from, instead of just profit off them while including some of their techniques and flavors in your recipes. You and your team are a blessing to this platform, Gaz. Sending love from Germany!

Best cooking documentary I have ever seen. The only hard part of watching this series is that it leaves me constantly hungry and craving some good Mexican food.

I stayed in Tulum last month and was across the street (literally) from Tapatia Tacos and became friends with Eduardo. He had the best vegan food we have ever had. It was amazing that me and my wife ended up getting his food every single day for lunch since the place we stayed was right there so it felt like he was our personal chef (lol). I highly recommend if you are in the area. I tried everything on the menu and it was all amazing from the tacos, burritos, quesadilla and of course the torta.

Just make sure to ask if the beans are cooked in “manteca or aceite” to avoid lard/pork fat. Many places/regions cook their beans, and often times rice, in lard and some don’t.

I know, some people will get offended but to me, Muy Rico is like Anthony Bourdain's series but better - kinder to people and more respectful of the culture. I grew up loving all his culinary travel series but yours is genuinely next level - I absolutely need to watch all the episodes with my mum as I am sure she'll enjoy it a lot too! I am waiting for the full-length compilation though because I absolutely loooved The Salt of The Earth as a movie! Lots of love Gaz and the team - you are legends!

Gaz and Tom I am so impressed with the quality of your educational, cultural, cooking documentary. Gaz, you are a great interviewer and have such a calming presence. Everything you make from scratch looks incredible, and makes me want to recreate the exact same dish. It was fascinating to learn about the caves and see your snorkelling experience. The abundance of fresh, vibrant food in the supermarket was every vegan/vegetarian’s dream. Much love

I love this series really much - from a viewer's perspective, from a foodie's perspective and from an editor/videographer's perspective. I love how you capture the lives of these lovely people and provide us viewers with an insight into the everyday's life of Mexicans. Further I appreciate your/your team's effort in grading and editing the footage carefully to end up with such a lovely video. It's not just a cooking video. It is a work of art containing all things I love. Thank you so much for your effort and I can't wait for Episode 4! (hach how I would love to help your team film and edit your videos.
