We stayed in the hotel during hurricane Milton and it was nice we were in block 2 3rd landing the shower was a walk in one we had no bath so was a little bit more modern brilliant hotel !

Hi Adam, wow during hurricane Milton, how was that? Thank goodness you're safe. Funnily enough we're in block 2, in a refurbished room, no bath, but a walk in shower which is great. My negative is we're further away from the Shuttle bus stop than I'd like, but this hotel has one of the better pools I've seen and the music they play is great.

@ it was alright, scary, but the hotel and the news had us at easy the scary part was the tornado warnings we had 130 in a few hours max. We were in room 2302, us as a family thought the walk in shower was ideal

@adambaker7324 I can imagine that being scary and listening to the winds and hearing things move about would have put people on edge. Great that the hotel and news put you at ease though.

@@MKVacays-hw2sx we are looking to come back in 2026 but when we liked with virgin they were saying they don’t thin contracts are getting renewed so it looks like it’s the Rosen in. @pointe for us next time

@adambaker7324 I've always wondered about the Rosen, let us know how it is. Although of you want to stay at Avanti again, it might be worth checking how much it would be to book separate Flights and Hotel

We stayed there many years ago about 97 had a room out back on the freeway was a lot of noise from early staying again in 26

@crazier3157 We agree it can be noisy here, but if you don't mind, that it's a reasonably priced hotel with lots of great amenities and lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. We'll stay here again and the shuttle services to the theme parks are a bonus.

@@MKVacays-hw2sx is the little dinner right next door still there I think it was a Denny’s we had breakfast there most days we picked it for the shuttles

@@crazier3157 I've only just seen this 😳 Denney's is still there, Mark loves their Skillets. The free shuttles are great saves on driving and paying for parking.

When we checked in this time round, the resort fee was around $16.85 per night, I'm guessing the fee changes depending on season and may be how full the hotel is possibly 🤔
