Hi I’m loving your videos. Can I pick your memory about your old Sebart Mini Avanti S. it’s setup with Mini Avanti V2 JP Hobby retracts with brakes (powered by 3S 450mah lipo 55g) Wemotec midi Evo 90mm 11 blade fan partnered with HET Typhoon 650-68-1500 36mm motor. Wemo 11 90mm Midi Evo coupled with HET 1500kv 650-68 36mm spec says 80a 2368W 3.69KP Hobbywing HV (5-12S) 120amp ESC (opto) FrSky TD R18 and 2x 1100mah life flight batteries (132g) X20 Radio Hitec HS-5085MG servos Turnigy 5000mah 25-35C 4S LIpos x2 in series, 8S, in good condition not puffed 980g weight combined. On the bench I've measure WOT on two types of 8S lipos : 45C Graphene 2023W 75A 25C Turnigy 2271W 80A Bench tested WOT with 10S. 109A 3874W On testing it would struggle to lift its nose, even with 10s. I’ll upgrade the front strut to raise the nose on taxiing. Am I on the right direction with this setup, or should I be looking at a different motor fan setup? I’m not after crazy speed, just a good practical setup. Thanks

I get 20 minutes on stock motor on 8s2p8400MAh (138A full power) Li-Ion when at 50%. And 9 minutes when actually having fun. Guys say it's the fastest EDF in the club. Odyssey ordered. Thank you for the new addiction! -DeadstickDuck p.s....... Looking forward to P45b.

That's amazing. You fly almost 5 minutes and using only 3250 mAh. If my calculation is right, you draw 39 amps average, which is superlow. I don't understand how it is possible...

Can you run that system on 6s and 8s? I want to up grade my Avanti S. You have done an awesome job with yours. Can you recommend a good fan and ESC? Affordable but fast. Thanks

Nice! U use 3 Flight mode DR as the manual write for Mini Avanti? (DR 100% on landing and spin with full Flaps for ailron&elevator) Im now ready for maiden, Thank U the answer 😊
