Where do you find the properties tab on Blender 3?

Want to stop software piracy? Give out purely basic version of avastar people can use and try out before they buy, and so they can do the bare minimum of rigging a item without any other features. Pose & Weight w/ bone toggle. No one is going to want to drop nearly 50$ usd on something for a one time thing they may or may not use again, a lot of people wanting to start out trying to model and rig but cant without a paying, because they have to use avastar with a body dummy kit that used it, or its a pain and very complex to export it without it breaking on upload.

Most important: the remark about piracy covers all creative people in general, avastar creators in special, and us also. second: Avastar is not at all suitable for any "one time thing". The tool is by far too complex for that. You need Avastar only when you are planning to do serious work with rigged mesh and animations. third: Our customers have 60 days to figure out if the tool is helpful for their work. We give full refund if someone decides the tool is not helpful for them. fourth: Our aim is to provide best possible tools with best possible support. This is not doable when we sell our tools for a cup of coffee or even give it away for free. The market for Avastar is very limited. Pirates limit it even further. consequence: price raises. You may partially thank the pirates for this, and partially the increasing costs that we see when paying our own bills. fifth: Adding a small version of Avastar is on the TODO list, but we still need to understand fully where to make the cut. So far we could not find any reasonable subset that would work.

I wasn't agreeing with piracy/theift and I know it covers all creative people, but I also know the story here. I could be wrong but in the past and even today when uploading 'anything' created using avastar without exporting 'with' avastar, everything is rotated and contorted when attached. When I was first starting out with modeling this was the number one most frustrating thing. I wanted to make a few accessories for a body for personal use and I just couldn't get it to work and gave up. I could not find any documentation how to fix it , and everyone I asked said just use avastar. I since own avastar and have no issues, but you just need to think about people like that, who is going to want to buy something just to export something that they could do freely before, thats what I thought back in the past, as it looks to most like a requirement at first glance. The cost is fine I do aswell understand that bills are a pain, and the work your doing is wonderful and makes dealing with rigging a lot easier

Avastar 's rig uses X symmetry because Blender's "natural" symmetry axes is X. This allows us to use all Blender tools for modelling, rigging, animating, whatever in a seamless way. Actually you CAN export an Avastar character with the blender exporter. You need to fiddle a bit with rotation issues, but its doable after all. Only your custom animations will fail then. But even that can be handled with a bit of work. But i still do not understand the use case here. Either you have Avastar then just use its own exporter and all is good. Or you do not have Avastar, then use the Y aligned rig from LindenLab and all is well again. OK, the case where you have an Avastar character but you do not have Avastar is not supported well by us. That is true. I have thought of a tool "Convert Avastar to SL" some time ago. But we simply have not found any scenario where this tool would be useful.
