There was no lie behind Vinita's comment. From the beginning of the episode it was clearly visible that this entrepreneur was not humble enough. Firstly she underestimated and disrespected her customer by telling 'Karol bagh ki aunties jo english nahi bolti hai'. like how can you measure someone's dignity with an language! I learnt so many things from this one video. 1. When Vinita was able to judge her attitude towards people I learnt how one should choose the right words to share their views. 2. When Piyush mentioned about not being defensive I learnt that one should never put anyone else down to show themselves better or superior. 3. When she was surprised by their feedback. I learnt that whatever you think you are is not how people will see you as. People will always form their own opinion about you. So stay humble. 4. I learnt that one must always be prepared for feedback. If people say something that you never heard before. It means that the way you think and speak has taken a different direction. It may be important to reorient your thoughts based on how the world changes around you. 5. When she cried and said “mere pe allegation laga diya” and Piyush saved the day. I learnt that one (feedback receiver) can play a victim card to get out of a bad situation and you have to make sure you (feedback giver) should de-escalate the situation when your feedback has not taken the right way to avoid future clashes. 6. I learnt that in a room full of negative comments other sharks did not go with the flow and ha mai ha mila Diya. Each shark observed and addressed the situation differently. 7. When Anupam and Aman continued to speak other important things. I learnt that some men are not scared of outspoken verbally aggressive women. 8. When she got an offer I learnt that even when you see that things are not going the right way for you. You should not loose hope and not give up. Gotta stay stronger during tough times. Many more little little things. But the above were some serious ones!

Peeyush is the MOST sorted person on this Shark Tank. He’s a thorough gentleman who doesn’t even jokingly insult his Co sharks which otherwise is a usual sight at shark tank. I think she lacked self esteem more. She started with her personal achievememts and then put others down, that shows that she puts others down to feel better and behave confidently. She immediately got defensive and emotional when the sharks pointed out her lack of humility and her response was denying that she lacks humilty and then taking it all as just that she messed up, taking it as a personal attack and not just useful feedback from sharks, just focusing on how she messed up. She seems to joke around alot, to reduce the seriousness of the situation for her comfort and talks casually to seem confident and you can see her desperation and closed off body language in the end that contradicts the way she is talking. She gets arrogant and too casual as a defense mechanism. Talking way too much and too fast is a behaviour of someone with low self esteem trying to look confident in a space that intimidates them, this is to avoid feeling too conscious of themselves.
