One campaign, my sniper hit a deadshot on the Avatar with talon rounds and one shot it. He went on to serial 6 more enemies

I actually finished this mission without much problems... after killing the Avatar, I just popped down some smoke grenades to stop the enemies from shooting at my guys, and then I moved to a less exposed position and killed them. The smoke grenades are invaluable if you're in a tight spot (grenades in general are extremely powerful in the game)

The first time I fought an avatar was when I already had uber stuff, plus all of my guys where on overwatch, so I more or less insta killed the avatar be for he could even get a shot off

It happened to me too, the avatar did not spawn with full health but i remember skulljacking a full health codex.

I popped a freeze grenade on him and he literally died without doing anything except heal a bit. :/

What a lie ! In my game the avatar heal itself everytime, even kill two of my characters at the same time TWO TIMES ! Im not a pro, but iam not that bad, is just my shitty luck
