Hi Viola, I absolutely agree with you. Viewing this in slow motion can be a distraction. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, the original version (shot in 3 reels) is not commercially available. As far as watching it in silent mode.... very easy. Simply turn the volume control to the off position :).

Hi Guys, there is a simple solution to the slow mo problem, which I agree is very annoying; why do film editors think they can possibly improve on Meher Baba's most graceful and natural movement by slowing him down, like some royal entourage?#! The solution thankfully is easy but sorry to say will mess with your music, in the settings change the speed from normal to "2", that will give Baba back his natural graceful swiftness! Music wise all you can do is add your own soundtrack from your itunes or other music folder while playing the video in silent mood. Enjoy!

Oh I think I should mention that I had already seen that Jerry said that this was the way the footage arrived, so I don't want anyone to think I'm sticking it to Jerry, no way, actually I'm very happy to see this video :-). And while I'm being nice, I should add that I have to admit that sometimes I do enjoy Baba's movements slowed down, simply to extend the pleasure of watching details that otherwise I might miss in real time. So Slow or Fast, its all good!

Prem and Girja Khilnani came to see Baba on the 18th at 5:30 P.M. They expressed their disappointment over not being able to see him more frequently. Baba told them: Better than your being with me is my being with you! I am in everybody’s heart, but I am sleeping there. It is my old, old habit. In order to awaken me, you should always call out to me and say: “Baba, Baba, Baba!” continuously. Then I, who am asleep in your heart, will not find any pleasure in remaining asleep. Let alone sleep, I shall not find time even to doze! I shall slowly be awakened in your heart by hearing your constant call - your taking my name constantly. Once I am awake in your heart, you too would awake and remain awake for all time. Therefore, repeat my name constantly and awaken me in your hearts so that you become awake for all time.
