I know, I don't even consider it a kids show. The themes and a lot of the themes in it seem like it was directed more towards teens/adults than seven year olds as the rating system says.

@@vengeance1450 If a 7 year old is taught these things by their parents while their imagination/manifesting mind is on. And they then watch the story to see what they mean, they might become enlightened before even being an adult. I became enlightened on the day going into my birthday aka may 15th ‘there are no accidents’ i was turning 19 and am 19 now. But i believe that if i had my awakening at a younger age i could’ve grown up as an enlightened one. This would also boost my manifestation capabilities while I’m meditating and astral projecting. I am very grateful for the blessing but if only i got it back then, it couldn’t have been better.

I agree on that for "The Legend of Aang", a real masterpiece. And don't get me wrong "Legend of Korra" is an entertaining show but for me it lacks the philosophical, intellectual vibe from Lengend of Aang. Legend of Korra feels so much more like a kids shows in comparison to Legend of Aang.

@@draco5991rep The original is called Avatar The Last Airbender and the other is called The Legend of Korra. But yes I agree, the OG is better but I still enjoyed watching the Legend of Korra. There’s still a lot to take away from Korra’s struggles as well.

For real, I was sad they didn't continue it after aang defeated firelord ozai. There was so much I would have loved to see, korra was ok but I felt more connected to aang and the group. Knowing aang and almost all the characters we grew up with were dead or not a part of the series like they were before sucked

The more depressing part is if you look at the name of the son...it's the actual name if the voice actor...he was saying goodbye to himself after he found out his cancer was gonna kill him...so we legit heard this man sing goodbye to himself cause he didn't want to die 😭

Never has a show impacted me as much as Avatar. I finally finished the show the other day and was left in tears. My favorite character is Iroh mainly because of his willingness to forgive. Even after all Zuko put him through, he still loved him like his own son. All he wanted was for Zuko to succeed

This has a wide range of emotions. I think subconsciously avatar has been a huge part of my upbringing with how I view life. I'm not saying my parents were bad. They were and are amazing however I learned life lessons from this show that I don't think they could ever teach me or atleast put into words the way this show has and that has profoundly shaped my way of thinking and how I move through life with a sense of compassion and a smile.

This is art, you can and you have to learn from it, it doesn't matter the media, art is supposed to do exactly that. Depends on the person or the moment in their lives, they can feel and learn different things. I was born in a little town, my family is broke, my mom left me with my dad when I was 5, my dad tried to teach everything he can, but as a man who was born in a even smaller rural town, he can't provide everything I needed, so I learn a lot with books, HQs, cartoons, movies, etc. Art is awesome ❤

I remember when I was younger I would watch atla at my grandparents house. I loved it. I wasn't invested in the story or the lore it was just a good series I could turn on and enjoy, I never could've imagined how many people dearly loved this show until years later. I was watching frozen 2 with my sister and I was telling her about a goofy show about a bald kid who could use the four elements to defeat bad guys and I thought that in frozen 2 there would be other people with magic like the benders in avatar. So anyway I looked on Netflix and there it was avatar the last Airbender. 30 re watches later and many watch parties with friends and its still my favorite show ever.
