Netflix really botched this remake. Its is absolutely terrible. And not everything is terrible, but the characters arent that good. Aang is way too serious and not funny/childlike at all, sokka is sometimes funny but hes been neutered, Iroh, my absolute favorite, is not the ultra wise and lovable person he used to be. Katara is really bland...Netflix you get an F! No i didn't expect a 1 to 1 exact recreation. But i didn't expect you to change the foundation of who the characters truly are.

So true. I didnt expect a 1:1 either, but i at least expect good writing without bad dialogue and plot holes. It’s such a shame. I hope they improve next season because ill still have to give that a chance

That show is hard to get on. The creator wants specific actors for certain roles. And of course if you were on The Walking Dead
