Well, I don't think time of debut automatically makes someone a better vocalist... other factors have to be taken into account. There are many new vocalists that have better technique compared to those who may have debuted before them. Also, I don't know how long Solji was a trainee or how long she's been training to be a singer, but Taeyeon has taken professional vocal lessons since she was in middle school.

Wow Solji’s first C#5 was pleasant(but no one beats Taeyeon on this note from here). Overall I think Taeyeon leads but Uji is a bit behind due to her lack of resonance above C5 and consistency. Solji and Solar are quite even but I think solar needs to be a bit less chesty and solji’s resonance could be way bigger if she was more open. 1. Taeyeon: Her tone is the most desireable. Her technique is good. She tends to be airy when she ascends while belting but not much of an issue. Emotional appeal like come on, Taeyeon slaps you with emotions. But yeah, her voice can be a bit airy (maybe she is just exhausted?) Because there are instances her voice is swallowed with playback or background but in this clip she nailed it. 2. Solji: Her Agility and Musicianship is incredible. Her head voice isn't that great but her falsetto is audible enough. Her technique is very pushed and throaty so she strains alot but she kills the fifth octave with her tone but she needs to be more free/open in her technique. She sustains C5 well but she strained. One thing I like about her is that she can sustain and be able to rise it up a notch. Her vocal acrobats are life (she' a vocal coach after all). I love her more fore hitting flat or sharp notes with clarity and ughh. 3. Uji: I don't know much of her technique but she strains most of the fifth octave and she has that shouty factor. Her resonance and vibratos are almost unaudible. 4. Solar: She pushes her voice too much so she strains. She is very throaty but her breathing technique and lung capacity is fzcking insane that's why she sustains them. Personal opinion though.

Taeyeon is always so stable and has an amazing range, love her! But Solji managed to get emotions through like no other when she sings. And emotions are a big part of enjoying music. Technique is one thing, but it's not everything.

Based on technique, Uji > Taeyeon > Solar > Solji. However, none of them have any support in their upper belts, so it's anyone's game in terms of who is straining the least. Uji probably has the most balanced approach that still sounds relatively healthy. Taeyeon is able to minimize her strain, but she has to lighten her mix a LOT, so she loses some of her power on her highest notes.

But you are completely ignoring the fact that when I'm saying someone else is a "better singer" then this is because they have better vocal technique. This means they support more consistently at a wider range instead of straining, it means they have good breath control, it means their voice is agile and their registers are connected. These are what makes someone, on a technical level, a good singer. Just because someone has a pretty voice and they make you feel good that doesn't mean they are actually a stronger vocalist than another singer who may seem bland to you, but is objectively a more proficient vocalist.

I think all these singer are awesome and they're able to reach that high notes with their powerhouse vocals. However, i can't feel the emotion from those singer except from solji and taeyeon and for me thats the most important. How the feeling and emotion tranfered from singer to the audience. These 2 are on another level. The type of singer that can make people happy, uplifting, sad, or even cry...

A4 - best is Uji Bb4 - Solar B4 - Solar, I mean that resonance C5 - Solar C#5 - Solar and Taeyeon D5 - Taeyeon Eb5 - Taeyeon and Uji E5 - Solji... F5 - I think Solar F#5 - Taeyeon G5 - Uji G#5 - I think Solji That's my opinion, based on the best note of each note. I believe Solar is the most consistent through all the range in the video, Solji would be the least.

taeyeon is by far the best, all of her notes up to Eb5 are supported at least in the video, followed by uji with D5, then solar with her C#5 and solji is the weakest, with support only at C5 and just one C#5, solji is also very tense and screams more than sings, solar is too much chesty, taeyeon has the most balanced mix even at E5-G#5 when she strains a lot... and her vibrato is just superior
