Might wanna think about connecting your playlist together. Had to go to your channel to find the next episode. Good stuff. Never knew VTube was a thing.

Early! I really recommend Vroid as a gateway into Vtubing models! I thought it would be hard to learn, but a bit under a year later, I'm making clothing and avatar comissions on booth too ^^

I'm trying to get into making my own clothes, but the format is weird and I can't *quite figure it out just yet 🥲
@rakkikariko58553 жыл бұрын
@@casstark9790 my suggestions is pull up the base for what you kind of want to make and do a rough outline/line sketch on the model itself for your general design, then export the texture and work on it in whatever editing software you use
@casstark97903 жыл бұрын
@@rakkikariko5855 I'm gonna try this! I went into vroid and exported all of the clothing grids I plan on using, and I'm gonna experiment on some things.

So now that I have a VRM model, what now? What do use to import the model and make it an avatar in, say, OBS? Thanks!

Phew this is a great video to let people know it's not super daunting to get into being a 3d Vtuber. Definitely a great watch for people who are considering options to start 3d vtubing : D

i am so glad i found you randomly by chance this is a SUPER great resource, also is it possible to use a model that has like say a hat that can be removed or put on? or would that be right now with the tech not really possible?

Fantastic video @Fofamit! You said your avatar wasn't VRoid. Can you explain what your avatar is? How was it created, etc.?
@casstark97903 жыл бұрын
Tbh, Fofamit looks like a blender model!
@SpikeyMuscle3 жыл бұрын
@@casstark9790 do you think it was entirely created in blender? What characteristics of the avatar makes you think it was created in that application?
@casstark97903 жыл бұрын
@@SpikeyMuscle it's hard to explain, but they look much more 3D than like, say a model made in VRoid (I make vroid models) - so I would say they look like a blend of blender and Unity (adding the bones, etc). It's the lighting, how the body moves, the like - fullness??? Of the body. But they def don't look like they were made in vroid.
@SpikeyMuscle3 жыл бұрын
@@casstark9790 thank you for the clarification! I think I've seen your name somewhere before, so the second you said "I make void models", I was like.... oh right!

In short it can be summed up to: Buy a model from booth.pm or build a VRoid model (by the way that was 80% of the whole video). For the fact that the title says so much like: Avatars (Where do I get them, more sources, 3d, 2d, 2.5d) Blender Avatars (Models) Maya FBX, OBJ etc. etc. Models (like yours): Where do I get them. How do I create the models (Blender & Co). What to consider etc. Explanation if there are differences between model and avatar. Skin: What skin types are there, what skin types are there, what are the differences. etc etc. All this and much more was not answered in this video. I mean sure I can misunderstand the title (shame on me) but I think there is a lot missing to do the title justice. Nevertheless, thank you for your contribution. Nice video.
