It is one of the best I’ve ever heard. My Mother used to sing this version and it used to give people goosebumps. I searched for ages to find someone sing this (think it’s the Bach/Gounod, not Schubert) - can’t remember getting old.

Here, everything was perfect. This soprano with such Heaven-filled beauty has perfect control of her vocal instrument and remains wholly synchronized with the conductor.
