Schubert's compositional legacy is enormous: apart from songs, it inludes 8 symphonies, 15 string quartets, over 20 piano sonatas, cantatas, masses and other religious works, and a dozen operas .It's really hard to imagine how it was possible to compose all this while only 31 years old..

This is very lovely as is. HOWEVER, being an amateur violinist, the slow tempo (long notes!) are difficult for me, and I would appreciate a slightly faster version, say 56-57 bpm.

Good catch, I must have been playing from the edition that has an Eb there, you should play whatever your score says!

Unfortunately I don't do separate videos with tempo adjustments anymore, everyone's preferences are so different, I tend to go with a combination of how I'm feeling it musically, and from listening to a several recordings to get the approximate tempo that will work for most people.
