The vampire can be killed just like any other NPC in the game. You loot a unique dagger from him, but you dont need it to kill him. Last playthrough i hogtied him and fed him to an alligator.

Now i will say with the very first theory its less of a theory and more of "one of the clear reasons for the gangs downfall". John, Arthur and Charles and other members like Hosea and Lenny occasionally straight up say "We're making too much noise, maybe we're moving too much and hitting things too hard."

The "there was no rat" or "Micah wasn't a rat" is stupid. That would literally mean Agent Milton let Arthur and Abigail go knowing full well they would kill him. Him confirming the rat was because he had both dead to rights

These theories really make me think. The only argument I have, and it's very nitpicky, is that the Braithwaite Manor would go up like flash paper. Those old buildings burn hot and fast. We had an old barn burn up when I was a kid. It was ashes in a couple of hours and burned so hot it vaporized an aluminum boat.

Great Video. The thing about the 21 Shots being fired to kill John referring to the 7 fold punishment of God falls flat for me though since the I Know You Mission is an optional side mission, and John gets killed just the same, even without the player ever engaging the Strange Man.

Micah had dutch's wanted poster at his camp near strawberry. You can find it there and pick it up. But he probably wasn't after arthur. Arthurs bounty is 5 grand and dutch is worth 20.

Said right from the start there was no rat before guarma. Also my theory is dutch is suffering a mental illness that deteriorates more quickly as the game goes on. My theory for that is its lead posioning (and the symptoms fit, one of which is a difficulty in decision making as levels in the body increase), in that period lead was used in a lot of items such as the welding on food cans, ammunition and very tellingly a green ink....the book dutch is always reading has a green cover which noone else had much interest in this means only he would have that prolonged exposure. If you read the journal and listen to early ingame dialogue dutchs behaviour was seen as odd as early as blackwater when talking about him murdering the girl so the change in behaviour started much earlier than the tram crash it just gradually got worse. With the attention to detail everywhere else rockstar gave the game it wouldn't surprise me they researched this as well.

Strange man is clearly death or the grim reaper. Michah being in jail in the begining gives strong vibes towards him being fliped. Michah is a snake out for only himself and will do everything to save his skin. Rdr2 is in essence a game about civilazation of the west and the ending of the wild west and the era of outlaws. I do indeed agree that the change to bigger and more unhinged moves plus targeting one of the industrials giants who led the proces of hence civilazation is not helping them.

Roger Clarke, the voice actor of Arthur Morgan, said in an interview, that Rockstar recorded a dialogue which referred to the then found princess. So it probably isn´t Mary-Beth. Maybe it will be released in some patch someday.

I think Micah was def the rat, probably from the beginning. Watch the chapter 3 mission where Arthur gets kidnapped by Colm's gang, Micah desperately wanted to set the meeting up with Dutch and Colm, used Pearson to get it started and had it all planned out for Arthur to be the sniper, no doubt he was working with the law and Colm to capture the whole gang when they would have come to rescue Arthur

100 percent he was the rat, even when we go back to his "hermit camp" we find Dutchs wanted poster ripped with only the money amount showing. Now why is that?? To me it's obvious. Then everything you said about chapter 3, at the end cutscene when we arrive back to camp you can see Micah just straight walk away like nothing. Doesn't check on Arthur, nothing. He was disappointed & pissed that Arthur prevailed.

Of course gang made stupid decisions (thx Dutch) and was not hard to track down. But if you pay attention Milton was antagonist but he was reasonable and honest. So I think he said truth about Micah to Arthur. And in the final fight when Arthur calls Micah the rat Micah doesn’t decline this, he says “I’m survivor”so he admits that he talked

As for the rat, I read a comment that the developers confirmed it was Micah, but never saw the source. If so, it was still not well thought out imo because: 1) why Molly would claim to be one? It was emphasised multiple times that she knew the rules. Doesn't seem even faintly rational to me to say something that gives you an immediate death sentence just to annoy your former crush. 2) if Micah had a deal, shouldnt protecting him be a part of it? Pinkertons tried to shoot him just as the rest whereas with his deal he should have an easy way out if he leads Dutch to them in the end. 3) Many refer to the poster found in Micah's old camp. But it must be really old as the bounty was only 1000. Arthur's bounty was already 5k, Dutch's must have been higher. Not mentioning the timing (after Guarma etc.).

I agree that it doesn't really make sense. The only thing is that Molly was getting pretty unhinged by the time they got to Shady Belle. What she did and said may not have made sense. It may have felt like her only way out. Especially if she was Catholic - the whole suicide is a mortal sin thing might have been making her want someone else to pull the trigger to get out.
