For those of you who don't know, Jimmy (The Rev) wrote this song. He knew he was going to die earlier than most people. I don't think he thought it what be as young as 28 but he knew it wouldn't be the normal age for people to die. The reason he would die early is because he had an enlarged heart, so when he wrote the song he put in the line "I need another chance to live" on purpose. It honestly made me cry when I heard him say it.

Its a stellar performance, n I might may have not acc noticed that.. haven't heard this song in a while, but I like how they had the revs vocal dubs play out live still .. just have to ! Ofc but yeah I'd probably do the same if I were M! Always impressed how emotionaly charged music that brings me to tears can be.. Afterlife, now as a dedication track for the rev, among a few others So far away N Seize the day really tear me up most of the time Gunslinger too.. like a modern metal ballad .. Hearing M. Shadows and The Rev synchronize their screaming just before the solo makes me tear up so much. You can just hear and feel the pain in his heart, he let that scream out from the heart, a place full of passion and pain.
