Wonderful cover, as a Bassist myself, I love the approach you took in the Solo measures, I've always had to yell at myself for forgetting about using open notes when plausible. I normally play it with the triad pattern but that's only cause I think that's how Johnny wrote it (Learned it from a book years ago), I loved the personal touches as well. Great work, great song. 😼
