The drummer was The Rev. Unfortunately he passed away in 2009, a sad loss for the band since they all pretty much grew up together. He was an incredibly talented human being.

Jimmy was the man. If you like singing drummers tho you should check out Brann Dailor of mastodon, he does full on lead vocals not just backing vocals. He’s the best in the business when it comes to singing drummers. Another great singing drummer is the lead singer Stephanie mannaerts of the great band Brutus, she’s does lead vocals and is the drummer. Anyway RIP Jimmy, incredibly talented overall musician, too bad we didn’t get a little more vocals from him in A7X before he passed

You should react to Gunslinger Avenged Sevenfold (Live At the LBC) next if like listening to their live performances. Might i add that The Rev sings a few lines in Gunslinger, as well as the song Fiction. Fiction was recorded 3 days before he died and it was a pretty good song.
