Jerald Wolfe tbh I like slipknot just as much as a7x, but you gotta admit that most of slipknots songs are just screaming while a7x songs are really melodic. For example eyeless is not a hard song to sing just due to the fact that there aren't any actual singing parts. Since I agree that Corey is very awesome in the parts he has to sing like the choruses of before I forget, duality, vermilion, snuff, dead memories or even through glass (which I know doesn't really count as slipknot bc it's stone sour), slipknots music just isn't able to show his capacities as a vocalist. Shadows' range is just better I think. Both voices are very distinct but Matt just has these kind of two voices while Corey has a good range in his basic voice

No matter how much I try to listen to "Hail to the king" album, it just doesn't feel the same without Rev. It's crazy when people compare Arin to Rev because the band lost more than a drummer. Rev always had a creativity touch in most of their great songs, I don't know and maybe I'm pretty ignorant but I'd bet it was Rev who 'pushed' the band towards something new in every album. And his back vocals were the best, by far, among the members. It's a pity that he has died so early. He was such a great musician.
