chris dawson he can sing like this still but would rather not wear out his vocal chords and end up being like Hetfield (or even worse Paul Stanley having voice cracks on every verse) but IMO Shadows has gotten a lot better at conveying emotion with his current voice than he did with the old one, less screams but he conveys the songs better

I fell in love with A7x when I got my first car in 2008. My sister had a bunch of CDs and the band that I recognized was A7x, it was the city of evil album, which to this day is my absolute favorite. The CD was scratched so it would only play like 5 of the songs but this was one of them. From that first day I played the CD in my car i was hooked. 10 years later, i still love A7x, i have an A7x sticker on the rear window of my Subie.

I agree completely.. This is different band in concert since the Rev died. Their music is great, Arin is a good drummer, but they've lost their passion in concert. They still put on great shows just because they're so good, but they are going through the motions.

I agree, but then I think over the course of a few months they do hundreds of gigs trying to visit as many countries as they can to fit us all in, tiredness and fatigue get in the way but the shows are still awesome like you said.

No argument. The fatigue gets to almost every band and the travel wears you down. My objection is they play basically the same 13-15 songs every night. I watch other bands and they change the playlist. How boring can this be? We all love "Bat Country" but how many thousands of times have they played it. If you write great songs like "Save Me" or "MIA" why not play them occasionally? Wow, can you imagine an encore of just MIA and Save Me??? That might be 18 of the greatest minutes of music history. Also, compared to so many other bands they just don't play long enough. They have 15 years of music now. Show the talent, let it go, be what you can be. Look, I love this band. They're in my top 10 all-time, but they are much better than what they show us.
