Zack Trollinski Pitch/pinch harmonics are pretty easy once you get used to playing them accurately, it's his use of the sustainiac and vibrato that gives it it's signature character that's quite hard to replicate.

Diamond Lu Dickwad He's not a dude who can "kinda play guitar," he is in fact an extremely good guitarist, amongst the best of this generation. Just because he isn't super innovative and special (which he actually is but whatever) with his instrument doesn't mean he's just "sorta" by any means.
@god84838 жыл бұрын

he's a very skilled guitarist, if you think otherwise you're fucking stupid, I've been practicing guitar for 6 years now and I've become pretty food, but no where near the level syn is at, I'm not saying he's the best guitarist in the world, I'm saying he's good either way you look at it, dude knows his instrument

Its not really a new style. If you listen to his playing from Sounding the Seventh Trumpet all the way to now, you can hear that its just a natural progression of his skills and style. He's always had a style that's sort of prog, meets 80's metal, meets blues. What Syn has been doing a lot of though since before Hail to the King, is studying jazz guitar, bluegrass, and classical guitar (even a bit of flamenco, if memory serves).A lot of people give him a lot of shit, but he's really one of the few true musicians out there in that he's never satisfied with his skills and he knows there's always more to learn.

@@El_Bartto The beginning isn't very hard but the very end is. I didn't put enough time into it. I'm used to tapping EVH is my favorite guitar player and biggest influence so it's not a new concept to me. But that last run, Section 5 in the video i was learning from is tough. I'll post the link below. It's like a sweep but it's tapped and it's really fast. It's pretty hard though. I could do it if i put more time into it but i just kind of got bored and lost interest. I'll probably try again at some point. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqPPZKuMgMR0nqs

⚡️🎸🔥🐰⚡️. I got expelled from high school and always liked to think of myself as Sirius Black since the school mascot is a Wizard (Middle College H.S. Santa Ana, CA)when I was sent to live at my parents resort in Monterrey Mexico after. I left with your City Of Evil Cd and got into medical school down there(dropped out after 5 years in... lots of cartel bullshit and....life? Lol) your music not only reminded me of home (Santa ana) while I was down there but would also get me pumped for whatever I had to do Ever since I have been hooked on your guys's music! Synyster Gates Matthew Shadows, Zacky Vengance and of course The Rev R.I.P with all due Respect Love you Guys. Living Legends & Rock God

Pure quality. I put a pair of headphones on and laid on bed for a bit. A few minutes later I totally forgot I was listening to a live performace. These guys pull near studio-quality performances, true peofessionals.
Dude, they still look the same as they did when I saw them in 2005. They just don't age haha

I have been in love with these guys since I was 12, I'm now 21, the raw emotion that they put behind every album into every song into every concert is amazing (waking the fallen is my true love). I saw them live 3 years ago in London & I'm seeing them in January for my 2nd time and no doubt I will cry. Since loosing The Rev yes they're stage performance has gone down but they lost their family, they were also young men and have matured since then. I've had some very dark times in my life and these 5 men have always been their to lift my mood & spirit up within myself, I will forever be grateful that they continued to write Nightmare and that they continued to stay as a band, thank you for not giving up on me and all your fans and for continuing to produce endless amounts of amazing music!
