Great update. I was surprised to see the red panels come down. It will be interesting to look for any differences when the panels return. Thanks for sharing.

After most of the red panels were installed, they may have discovered that the cladding was too reflective (generated too much glare). Since Spider-man will be launched from behind the red panels, I'm sure lights will be shining in that area to showcase spider-man. They might have discovered the glare from the panels was distracting. If this is the case we will probably see a different finish on the panels (from glossy to a matte finish). Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the update. Do you think they purposely put the red panels and removed them after to put the seal or they made a mistake and forgot to seal it before putting up the red panels?

It's hard to tell why they removed the cladding panels. It could be many different reasons such as: 1. After most of them were installed, they may have discovered that the cladding was too reflective (generated too much glare). Since Spider-man will be launched from behind the red panels, I'm sure lights will be shining in that area to showcase spider-man. They might have discovered the glare from the panels was distracting. If this is the case we will probably see a different finish on the panels (from glossy to a matte finish). 2. They detected a moisture issue in the walls and needed to add another weather barrier. 3. The panels were installed for alignment purposes and then removed. 4. The panels were misaligned and needed to be removed for adjustment.

I hope it’s just a minor setback like a glare from the panels and not anything major where it could further delay construction. Thank you for the detailed explanation. Your Disney construction insights are the best!!
