Avengers Campus Food - What’s GOOD, What’s BAD?

We went to the grand opening day of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure with one goal: eat all the food and drink all the drinks. We ate all the adult meals at Pym Test Kitchen, drank all the cocktails and beers at Pym Tasting Lab, experienced the out of this world desserts at Terran Treats and even had breakfast at Shawarma Palace. We also experienced the opening day craziness and the first performance of the Black Widow stunt show on top of Avengers HQ, and saw some of the new costumed characters like Sam Wilson - the new Captain America, Ant-Man & Wasp as well as Iron Man’s new armor. We’ll show you some fun Easter eggs along the way, give you some pro tips for your trip to Avengers Campus and we stayed until night time to see how Avengers Campus comes to life at night. Pretty sure there is background music in Galaxy's Edge? John Williams composed a specific background track for the park

There isn’t any background music only diagetic music. There is music when you first enter the tunnel to the land. John Williams original batuu music theme is only used on the rides and savis lightsaber experience.

The colors in the Pym foods are a reference to the Shrinking and Enlarging disks and tech used to make them so. Blue for making things bigger and Red for making things smaller I believe.

I was there at Avengers campus opening day and I was thoroughly impressed with the land, however, the way it was managed was pretty frustrating. I wish they would have set something up like when galaxy’s edge opened with reservation times to enter and exit. They set up a standby line but no one was leaving the land so that meant 3-4 hour wait times for the standby line. If your going to go to this land go super early in the morning to be the first one there or wait a couple months until covid restrictions lift.

I too am very curious why they didn't do a land entrance queue and limit time in the land like with the opening of GE. Maybe they think the hype won't last as long? I'd love to see it slow down before my next trip end of July, but likely that's just wishful thinking. 😅

@@genaf9885 I say just get there as early as possible even before park opening. Try to park away from Mickey and friends structure so u don’t have to worry about waiting till that structure opens. Kitra and Peter have talked a lot about other places to park so that’s really helpful. Also don’t forget to mobile order. I heard today that they changed it so u have to be in the land to mobile order. Before u could be at ur hotel and mobile order for example.

Thanks for posting these! It made me feel like I got to try all those things with you! I went on opening day and didnt get to try any of the food cuz mobile orders were out and didn't get a chance to get on web slingers at all. My gripe was that there were park hoppers who got to do both ROTR and web slingers in the same day yet there were people like me who only went DCA for 1 thing and couldn't do it. I hope they fix that in the future where if you get to do either web slingers or ROTR in the morning the noon boarding group should be prioritized for people who have been able to do either ride yet. That was also awesome you were able to help out your friends with the boarding group since they hadn't been on!

34:20 these are props from the new show Loki. Collar was used to reset Loki in time. The “calculator” was used by TVA agents to monitor if the branch of time was reaching redline. The jar/grenade looking thing is used by TVA to reset branch timelines.

They were there at 7 I bet. At 8 it was a "forced march" line that snaked so much ended up walking a mile. 😳 Folks didn't leave cause they couldn't! If you left you were OUT! Didn't matter if you had a mobile order. And that was IF you could get one. Then there was the closing of the stand-by lines. Told 3 or 4 times "line closed". By end of day I unloaded on the people at City Hall. If you go in the next month, take water, refillable water bottle, food/snacks. You will NEED them!
