Agents of SHIELD is just easily the best comic book tv series out there, better than the whole DC CW series and the Marvel netflix shows (outlived them as well). Everything is well-developed, from the plot, world/universe building and mythology, and the characters overall growth and development (seriously, they have intense and deep developments for the characters specially Fitz). They were almost able to deliver more (story-wise of course) than what the MCU did with the whole Infinity Saga, and they didn't have to be cannon anymore, specially after S5. Personally after s4 I just started seeing AoS as its own thing and doesn't really need tie-ins anymore because it became beautiful on its own. Plus, Clark Gregg played as Agent/Director/LMD/ Chronicom Phil Coulson (and also as S6's baddie Sarge) CONTINOUSLY for 12 years, just a bit longer than Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark.

Technically the AOS finale is set in 2020 because the Thanos snap took place in 2018 alongside the season finale of season 5. Season 6 is set one year after that in 2019 and the final scene in season 7 is one year after that in 2020.

They were not holes in endgame, the crossing realities was implicit in the rules as dictated by avengers endgame. If you can return the stones to where you took them literally you have to be able to cross realities. AOS did make them even super clear so no one could misunderstand but the endgame holes are only holes if you fail to understand the implications of the time travel method they used.

Caffeine has a half-life of 4 hours and can only affect you if it has a chair to sit in in the theater. Throughout the day more and more Melatonin is produced so your tiredness is a measure of how many of each are taking up your seats and how long they've been sitting for It's a good analogy for understanding the mechanism behind tiredness

7:05 I suspect this is a story bug. After all, they went back to the original timeline. And in it, at the end of the first season, they survived the attack of the hydra, and the destruction of the Triskelion. After all, they could have rebuilt this building. highlights they returned to their original timeline where it is after the hydra attack

So how was the real shield formed with Robert Gonzales and Mack and friends. It was destroyed in the main timeline. They did say though to survive the snap, they went to a different timeline, but deleted scenes. I would love Agents of Shield to be MCU.

(Warning for photosensitive viewers: this video contains flashing imagery) You know, the fact that SHIELD was fully intact again, with the Triskelion rebuilt, in their timeline's 2022(?), is interesting; that's awfully fast for an organization that was almost entirely dismantled to return to that level of prominence... (Also, pretty sure their Triskelion was also severely damaged during the fall of SHIELD/Hydra, since the timelines were still pretty much in sync at that point.)

I stand by the "Time Space GPS" as they called it in Endgame, they choose a date, a coordinate(how Rogers and Stark got to camp Lehigh, and how Rogers got to Vormir), as well as a branch variable, allowing them to select which branching timeline. That way all they have to do is lean on the GPS(QPS? Quantum Position Satellite?) Instead of actually trying to explain it.

Thinking about it, AoS team didn't have one that's why they were just following the chronicoms instead of choosing when/where to go themselves and why they had to pull Fitz into their timeline instead of just going to them himself.

The triskelion could have been rebuilt under Mack's directorship as the last episode is set to be in 2020 so it could still be the original timeline. I think they didn't ignore the snap as after one year of the snap everything should have stabilized.

If they were to do justice to the fine actors of Agents of SHIELD, they should just bring them over to Agents of SWORD. Or better yet, make SHIELD a special powered division made up of Photon, Quake, Yo-Yo and Deathlok, etc. Or follow the lead of the comics, keep SHIELD terrestrial threats (fighting HYDRA remnants, AIM, The HAND, etc.) and SWORD stellar or omega level threats (Loki, Kree, mythical creatures, Galactus)
