I think that should be her arc. Her first movie, getting over being used by others (just like Cap when you think about it). The problem with your theory concerning Nebula is that Nebula doesn't think that way. Her solution for resolving conflict is with physical violence. She consistently rams head first into whatever obstacle is in her path. She tries to kill Gamora with a spaceship before engaging her in combat. She tries to kill Thanos with a spaceship before engaging him in combat. She only opened up w/ Gamora because she actually wanted reconciliation. Nebula hates Thanos too much to examine his mind and motivations. It would never occur to her that Thanos might have cared about Gamora.

You say that BARF is the only possible technology from Civil War it could be, but there are other options. Thanos had the power stone when he beat hulk. And the comics are full of situations where they cause a time paradox that cracks open the multi-verse. Several Easter eggs have pointed out this is universe 616. Also scott lang can't be in the past with the van containing the shrinking gear... did the van go with him into a vortex? I'm betting the story is going to be that scott gets out somehow in the future... gets some tech from Bill Foster who has spent the last several years working with Pym's discoveries on quantum tech to better navigate it. Then Scott goes back to the present to help the avengers bounce across the past, trying to grab and hide stones at different points... each time causing timeline problems and paradoxes. But if they can stop thanos fro getting even one stone, then they stop the snap. Say they go back and get the tesseract and hide it in the quantum realm? If they have the time stone and space stone, they can travel to any point in space and time, trying to get other stones... but 4 of the 6 stones, have made an appearance on earth... all but the power and soul stones. Sure, they'll probably crack open the multi-verse, and set the stage for the next era of the MCU... and also get the attention of the major celestials and big ancient galactic baddies. Some heroes may never exist, while others (fantastic 4) suddenly do exist. Villains who were defeated, are no longer gone...

I think that the new Endgame synopisis partly explains how the Avengers will convince Thanos to change his mind. The synopisis says that the universe was plunged into chaos and disarray due to the snap. So, the universe hasn't become a utopia, as Thanos planned. Knowing that he has caused even more chaos will convince him to undo the snap.

To answer some questions I frequently see; yes most of these channels full of mcu videos are run by genuine Marvel fans (its veryyyyy obvious* when they aren’t; I.e. WatchMojos video “analyzing” the endgame trailer lol it’s the most cringeworthy “analysis” ever and they most definitely got stats saying that they needed to do more marvel videos then just stuck the first two ppl they saw in front of the camera to react to the trailer. I disagree with this practice strongly, but it does help to highlight the hard work of channels like this, emergency awesome, NewRockstars, or whatculture, all of whom are major fans and it shows in the quality of their work). And yes it’s totally fine if you don’t like marvel or the MCU, but if you don’t then there’s no need to come watch a video like this just to trash talk the people that are working hard on this content or the mcu itself and it’s fans. Just watch stuff you like. That’s the beauty of having so many platforms to watch stuff nowadays. Plus KZbin comments sections get crazy enough on their own my friends lmao

nebulla is alive because thanos honors his deals. He promised to stop hurting her if gamora gave up the location of the soul stone. Thor is alive because loki made a similar deal. It was this kind of analysis that lead dr strange to realize that to save tony stark he had to make a trade and hope that thanos would honor that ddeal. thats why even after knowing he had to give up the stone, dr strange kept fighting. He had to wait until tonys life was at risk to make the trade. It was the only way to make sure tony would still be alive post-snap

Gotta preface this by saying I don't like using comic book lore to explain movie events, but it is what it is. Comic book Thanos doesn't need to do anything to activate the stones, it is simply an act of will, there even the snap is just theatricality to show off a bit. So in the film I think it is just an unnecessary affectation, showing Thanos focusing the power. It is only in the moment of a mortal wound that he uses it without the action that he realizes that he didn't ever need to make the fist. Just my interpretation though. Of course you could go simpler and say before that point he didn't have all the stones, and once he did, that restriction was removed.

You mention that it's possible only Thanos can defeat Thanos, and that the Avengers may not be able to overpower Thanos, requiring some clever plan. However, Thor almost defeated the Mad Titan using Storm Breaker. Given another chance at fighting Thanos, I don't think Thor will aim for any other part of the body except the head. Although, maybe they defeat Thanos by sending him into the Quantum Realm, sort of like the villain in the first Ant-Man movie.

The Russo Brothers have recently pointed out to rewatch the B.A.R.F scene win Civil War that gives clues to a plot point in End Game.and specifically with Scott Lang and where he is standing when he speaks into the surveillance camera outside the Avenger facility ..I myself believe that what the Russo Brothers want us to realize is this...Scott Lang if you notice is in the same spot that Bucky was in when he shot out the camera in the Winter Soldier Movie.. notice there are leaves on the ground when Bucky is in that camera view as is Scott...Mariah sings " try and remember the kindness of September" and something about the leaves...I believe that Scott ended up coming out of a Time Vortex in late fall Before Mariah and Howard Stark were killed by Bucky ,..perhaps as Scott made his way to an obviously familiar place ( that being the facility Scott grabbed Hank Pym's tech from)Scott may have come upon Bucky just before Bucky goes to kill Howatd and Mariah and stops them...perhaps the reason for Steve's shock and asking if it's old footage is that Howard later shows up in the camera speaking to the camera... which leads me to think that some of those that were turned to dust were reset as if on a chess board and didnt die and are in places and times and are reset to play out the End Game.

Regarding the resemblace between Scott Lang scene in the Endgame trailer and the Civil War scene with Bucky, if both show the same point of view from a surveillance camera, I'm not sure we see the same place. The only common element, beside the camera angle, is the front fence. The connection between the presence of leaves on the ground and the song Mariah Stark sings is a nice touch, but I'm not sure yet it's enough for me to adopt your theory.
