Thank you for clearly showing the green screens for several seconds so that we can see what the actors actually see as well as showing the scene after VFX is added. It must take outstanding actors to react to monsters and scenery that aren't there while filming.

Why is this not in the bluray?!!! I dont care about director's commentary or stupid gag reel of 10 minutes or history lessons of characters. This is what I needed...Behind The Scenes (making of the film) which is not there, just deleted scenes and things I dont care about. Bluray content now days is a joke, I feel like I wasted my money on it and I'm pissed!

Yeah as usually works for movies. But I had this weird assumption in my mind that most CGI with big budget movies was ILM mostly and DD's work was second, both VFX houses did a substantial amount of work for the Transformers movies Harry Potter and the likes. But I didn't expect DD to have made this much in Infinity War. Truly great VFX houses the both of them

I'm pretty sure Digital Domain didn't do everything in this video. Weta apparently did everything in the fight with Thanos on Titan, which was shown here.

Digital Domain made Thanos in every shots (except on his planet, those sequences where made by Weta) for some sequence (on Asguardian/Thanos Ship, the sould stone scene...) DD made 100%of the scene and for overs they "just" dit thanos and it was mix with the work of an other complany. The same way, Method Studios created Rocket and Groot for all shots and created the scenes when they are with Thor in Space ILM did most of the Wakanda battle (all shots with Hulk Buster,or the army of Thanos) Double Negative did the nowhere and edinburg scenes+the fight bewteen Vision, Cap and Corvus Glaive in the Wakanda Forest Framestore did the New York Scene Cinesite did the scenes inside the ship where Ebony Maw take the Dr Strange (followed by Tony and Peter)

If Aqua-Man does good it will confirm my theory that DCEU needs to cut Bat-Man from their movies. Wonder Woman got 92% And Man Of Steel got 55% Those are the DCEU's best movies and they don't have Batman in 'em I'm a MARVEL fan who wants to give Batman justice...

I am hopefully optimistic about _Shazam_ coming out next year. It seems to be the lighthearted superhero movie that DC needs after so much dark, grease, grit and grime for so long. I'm looking forward to it more than any other DC movie coming up, including _Wonder Woman 1984._

@@JustWasted3HoursHere tbh it not about dark or light themed film,DC live action is failing because they dont have a plan,they are releasing those films no one asked for,people want MOS2,GREEN LANTERN,batman and they are feeding us with joker film without setting up batman,we had a supervillian team suicide squad before JL and its getting a sequel too,birds of prey is unnecessary,so is a harley quinn film,they need to setup the main characters first and they are running from that,after watching JL trailer i was sure it would fail for not having GL and using steppenwolf but it failed for other thousand reasons,i really liked shazam's trailer,looking forward to it and aquaman looks awesome but i hate the lead cast,momoa should be lobo not aquaman,but i think these films will work only because of WAN & DAVID.

Tony, The Stark normally they go to a bunch of studios, and ILM still worked on this, you can check on their website

Yeah I know they give different parts of the movies to a lot of studios, but ILM used to be the main studio, the one that supervised all the CG operations and the one that had the most scenes to work on. But this time DD seems to be the it.

I'd say they each had about an equal share of the work, 11 or 12 effects houses worked in this, of course most of them were on minor things but yeah I think ILM, DD and weta did most of the heavy lifting. Though I'm not sure.

One of the reasons i don't want him as Green Lantern. There's almost no way to do that without significant use of CGI. He also hijacks a lot of creative control when he's the lead. So, what we would probably get is a movie that starts off with Hal Jordan a few years into his service, less than twenty minutes in he loses the abilities the ring grants, then the rest of the movie being him trying to cope with being powerless again until he gets them back 15 minutes from the end.

the movie was great, but honestly it´s an absolute overload of CGI. Everything is greenscreen, everything is somehow animated, jeez, even Dr. Strange´s cape is animated in every frame, this overload makes the image look too perfect. If you compare it to movies like the very first jurassic park, where 99% was real, this looks totally fake. I mean everytime I see a marvel film you can tell that it´s not real (for example the set or props, I´m aware that a magic spell effect has to be VFX) cause the shots just don´t feel real and they loose on communicating authenticy and emotions ... just my opinion, anyone feels the same?

_"Even Dr. Stranger's cape is animated."_ Capes are often CGI, especially for action scenes like we see here. Even Christopher Nolan used CGI for multiple shots of Batman's cape in his trilogy that was largely practical. They're just too unpredictable, hazardous and bunch up.
