Man, I've learned a ridiculous amount from watching you work on stuff. Opened my first CYMA AK gearbox after watching for months. It's just a shame there's no one that I've seen (yet) in the Netherlands that won't fill my gearbox with custard. Would love to send my AK off to you to make sure the work has been done properly.

I had an avengers M4 for my first rifle. Served me well but the gearbox in mine couldn’t stand up to much. Metal around the trigger chipped easily. Glad this one worked out well.

That motor sounds a lot happier with it short stroked. And, urgh, selector plates and safeties, I've just binned the safety lock off of my CYMA with an SHS selector plate (the original snapped) rather than fiddling around trying to get it all working as CYMA intended.

With those split hop ups, do you just grind the lower part till a full hop up unit fits through, or is there something else you have to do? I ask because I have a kwa m16 and I'm not a fan of the hop up unit.

the elongated cylinder head is a good idea but it kinda ruins the point of having an extended GB in the first place. if u don't have that extra air volume then why bother?

Hi. I got that Cyma Platinum SR25 couple of weeks ago, what kind of upgrades would you recommend doing to it, regardless of out the box performance? Power wise, shoots as advertised 1.9-2J with .36 and hopped, but i'd like to get 75-80m range out of it, if possible Also, interesting they would allow full auto SRs on fields

Why wouldn't you allow a full auto SR, if the power is right? Not everybody plays milsim, you realise there are folk out there with air tanks and stripey socks, right?

Can someone tell me why i cant programe my perun v2 to have safe as safe because it replicates whateva i have semi set on and should you use active brake and precocking at the same time or only one at a time and which one is the best to use and do i need to configure the trigger again cause ive messed it up and there in gel blasters because airsoft is banned here in AUSTRALIA and thx in advance to anyone who can help me out

May someone give me an advice? I'm new in airsoft and have Krytac Vector (this airsoft gun made me appreciate the Vector style over an M4) and want to use a M130 to bring it to 380-400 fps? is ok to do it? will the gun hold up? or should I do something else first? Here people told me to use teflon tape for the cilinder instead but I don't know if it's to ghetto of a fix

So I’m thinking of doing a build from a stock cm16 raider and would shs 13:1 gears, asg infinity u22000 motor, and a shs Swiss cheese piston cause PME? Also do you think it would crack the gearbox

OP Airsoft also shs Pom piston head, stock cylinder, shs aluminum double o ring cylinder head, and a Maxx double o ring nozzle

Short stroke ~2 teeth with an SP110 or something and you should be fine. My Specna uses a ZCI hight torque (22 tpa) with 13:1s ss2t on an SP110 with a swiss cheesed SHS piston and I have no issues with PME. Can even run it on an ASG 30k.

So an elongated cylinder head so you can run a standard cylinder and piston, but tappet plate and cylinder head are still non standard? Hmm, surely they could have used a standard V2 with a longer nozzle

But I like what they did with the gearbox, alot better than G&G' standard V2 with a huge dildo for a air nozzle that creates fps drops whenever you apply hop... Mine is still sitting waiting to build because it's not high on my priority list since I rarely play outdoor fields

@@StarMonkee I ran my DMR at the CQB field I play at because they have a 400fps limit and I was getting one shot kills all the way across the field, it was pretty funny when the ref would blow the whistle and I'd immediately take a few players out right when they got out of their spawn and they'd look around very confused as to how they got hit already
