@King of EBLA no, in no official comic so far has magneto even mentioned israel. Marvel tends to shy away from directly commenting on real world conflicts. Though there is a theory that magneto founding genosha was commentary on the partition of palestine, the founding of israel, and the systematic removal of palestians/non mutants. I think its a flimsy theory for an allegory.

The Eternals are basically God level themselves. Uranos is basically skyfather. Consider skyfathers easily stump herald level, it makes sense they should be able to be omegas. Most omega are impressive but they'd be equivalent to a herlad level being. Look at how Odin treated Silver Surfer.

They are ETERNALS, technically Thanos only has a mother, father, and a brother, right? Or would it actually be Kronos? Did Kronos actually make all eternals? How does that pan out for other worlds? Does that mean they have their own versions of a Kronos-like eternal? Also unrelated, does that mean that other species could have deviants/mutants too? This changes in this story opens up so many new and different possibilities. I can't help but feeling something absolutely massive is happening right under our noses

@@BigBingusBoy you're thinking too hard. The Celestials made the first generation of the Eternals, Kronos and his brothers among them. Kronos was special among all eternals, which is how he ascended to become a Cosmic entity. And with every world they do have a first generation of eternals we just don't know about them because they aren't important. I think the only other eternals we know about are the skull eternals Kl'bbn and Sl"guurt. And I'm not sure if they're first generation either

Dude, I've become pretty numb at demonstrations of power in comics because writers just focus on scale at this point, rather than creativity. So when Magneto was revealed to be alive without his heart because he was using the iron in his blood to manually pump it throughout his body. My mind was blown!

Despite the massive feats being lumped onto him in such a short time, I don't even have that big of an issue with uranos as a character so much as we're getting the bulk of this with next to no inkling as to what his powers are. Even if he was a mass matter/energy manipulator like Thanos in addition to his baseline eternal physiology AND whatever the uranos armory entails, you can't just have him no sell guys like magneto and legion with next to no set up/ explanation. Semi-enjoying him so far but I'm almost 100% sure he's not gonna have this level of menace in future stories if he surfaces again.

World-Breaker Magneto has entered the chat. Seeing all the Omega Level mutants show their abilities to their utmost is what I'm excited about this event. Any mutant that has a Krakoa "backup" can potentially be resurrected at their optimal level. I don't think the Eternals will win this fight.

both are true, plot armor was used to beat the omega level ones, they had a bunch of reality warping omegas in arakko but the writer didn't use them with respect to Legion maybe he couldn't just bring out that reality warper persona Honestly don't believe Uranos can beat a reality warper, that's the reason Franklin Richards was the most powerful that even Celestials at one story line feared him and Uranos is a creation of the Celestials

electromagnetism can even alter a person's emotional state as they are currently successfully using it to dispel depression. He started at a reasonable power level that was only strong enough to affect metal objects, give flight, and erect shields (electromagnetic force field? I don't think physics backs that but okay). Writers kept upping his powers to up his threat level and that created an OP character so powerful that it's above writers understanding of physics.

Virtual partical force carriers are not equivocal to physical particals. Photons are considered force carriers of electromagnetism so that the observed quantum interactions can be preserved mathematically. If my understanding is correct, so called virtual particals "exist" in intervals of "spacetime" often smaller than the minimums comstrained by Planck units. Particles can be defined as oscilations in quantum fields, and oscilations in the electromagnetic field do result in photons, but since most of these photons self anihilate as virtual force carriers, I am skeptical as to how much influence a psyonic influence over a local electromagnetic field could have over less temporary electromagnetic radiation. Magneto's powers seem more aligned with the magnetic field component than the electric field component. So, I would argue that to control light he would need to use another mutant's power (such as molecule man, spectrum or storm) to fully encompass the electromagnetic spectrum in range of psyonic manipulation. Utilizing technologies like the energy absorbtion and conversion to electric current as seen in several ironman and dr doom armors could also potentially serve this purpose. If magneto can truly exert control over light rays then his powers are less magnetic and more fundementally quantum than any previous version has depicted. Side note: comic book logic is based off real observations, while real technology is often based off the hypotheticals of comic book logic. So, if it can be imagined, its not necessarily wrong. Fiction has as much leeway and discrepancy as it wants. Hey i typed this drunk so, any typos and misconceptions have an excuse. But hey if you can keep it constructive, by all means geek/nerd away and correct me.

They have no concern for canon and have been reimagining as they go, so it’s probably toxic to question their decisions. Personally, I’m tired of the trend of turning characters OP. It sort of severed relatability to my mind but perhaps new readers like feeling OP themselves.

@@carljensen333 thats why I don't bother commenting unless I am drunk and cannot sleep haha but yes I totally agree, it is ashame that writers feed on the 'bigger number contest' mentality that less discerning readers seem to demand. Dragonball is the most clearly simplified common example of this trend. I used to hold Marvel in a higher reguard in this respect but its becoming hard to enjoy a well written story when this shortcut around actual creativity is so often taken. There are many great concepts in Marvel, and sci fi has inspired real world technology for a century at least. I suppose there is a vacuum for new distinguished writers to fill for those of us who demand more analytical creative content. Also, the OP theme can be done well, like with the original Watchmen story, but now that its in basically everything it feels like a copout.

For me, one of the greatest reasons why the Marvel Comics and the shared universe that they managed the build... Is so great... Is the amazing talent and story telling craftsmen that truly have captivated me so that I'm always coming back for more entertained! And thank God they have! Because I've gone back to read from 60's, 70's... Started in the 80's... And Lord knows through the years if only I had the money and the space I would be broke in a fantasy land of my own escape! I found out long ago that like my mother, my imagination did bring what I read to life... And reading a comic was the same as watching animation is to others... I don't get any where near that experience with these videos... But Rob, what you've done... Is give me at connection back the characters and titles - I fell in love with... And honestly, really - YOU are doing Marvel and all of the books you cover a HUGE service! Because though I will likely never be able to collect up all of these stories for myself... I WILL collect again because you keep the flames of WHY I love these characters and titles firmly alive! Because I'm one of those that's actually opened and read Magneto's first appearance... I've read him return as the Brotherhood... When he took over leading the X-Men from Professor X... And small stories... Like those in back section of "Classic X-Men"... Not endangered at all with resurrection protocols, and I'd not choose to protect them being a normal human for the very basic reason that they chose to be above justice and morality by taking mass murderers and genocidal villains as both peers and leaders. Mutants apparently see themselves above human justice, they segregate themselves, and pulled Mars out from under the feet of human endeavoring. Plus they think they speak for our solar system on galactic matters? I can't see humanity protecting that. X-titles have often been portraying humanity as the villain while propping mutant supremacy and I've not been comfortable with it as I'd be leading the push to ban them from the planet. To each their own. Many fans are absolutely loving this last year of X-titles so I'm sure you have plenty of company. I'd prefer resurrection, Krakoa, and Arakko were gone and mutants brought down to manageable numbers so that it returns a uniqueness to being a mutant rather than a "minority" that is so powerful that it makes any opposing "majority" meaningless. We'll see. I think all the dust should be settled and the direction of mutants clear by December. Heh. One of us will be happy, but no saying which.
