Question: Your height and the frame size of this Soltera 7? I'm 6ft in shoes and looking at same bike but Soltera website says I should buy a large frame and large sold out locally right now. Thanks

Hey Frank, I would definitely recommend the large frame for you. I’m 5’8, and I have the “regular” frame size aka the small one. I think the frame I’m riding would be too small for you unfortunately.

Hey, it’s called the Delta Smartphone holder. I had to buy an additional part from the bike shop to Mount it the way I have it, but it was easy and inexpensive 👍

Thanks, I also have this bike and am looking for a suitable mount for it, but I'm not sure if the standard mounts will fit this handlebar. Despite the fact that my phone is almost 7 inches in diameter with the case.

Watched the video. Aventon has put regulators on the bikes now thru firmware. So do not connect your soltera to the app anymore. If you do, it will limit your bike to 20mph automatically and you won't be able to change it. I was not able to unlock mine during the review or after since they put the new firmware on the app.

Thats such a bummer, I don’t know what they’re thinking with that. I hope this changes in the future, I’m actively looking for a workaround in the meantime. 👍

Haha, thank you!! Yes it will, it’s pretty gradual though, you won’t feel it kick in right away. I’m going to be making some videos on the 2nd gen model soon, it’s even better than the OG model 😎

Just picked it up a recently and tested it, so far so good although the app will only let me raise the speed up to 25mph now @@stkyfngez

Regarding app update for the Soltera 7, I have the same bike. Aventon has now throttled the over 20 mph speed limit. With new app update, you cannot increase speed more than 20 mph. Very upset about it. If anyone knows how to override this that would be great. Just don't update your app.

@@hasher10001 That’s true, however I don’t miss it on a skinny tire road bike like this. That being said, I do also enjoy suspension on some other heavier bikes. It’s definitely more comfortable and smooth riding experience 😎
