I miss Jeff. I I onced went to an Avenue Blue concert and ended up hanging out with Jeff at the valet . He was so kind to my son Jamie who was about 10 at the time. Both Jamie and Jeff are gone now.

It was such a pleasure singing this tune for my friend Jeff's record in 1996. I had just moved north from the Carolinas and Jeff asked me to sing Bobby Womack's tune "Daylight". We recorded the vocal in his living room, just a few blocks from where I was staying in Manhattan. Jeff had done such a great job playing all the guitar parts for my 1992 MCA album "Road To Freedom", recorded at The Power Station in New York. I was eager to contribute a Guest Lead Vocal on this project of his. Jeff was one of those rare musicians that can do it all - soul, blues, rock, country, jazz, even classical acoustic guitar. I miss him. He had so much more to give, so many more records to make, concerts to do, songs to write. God bless you Jeff. May your spirit roam free and watch over your family from the the Sky World.

Nice tribute. You did a great job on this song - very nice voice. I saw Jeff live only twice and he is one of favorite guitarists. His wonderful music had beautiful melodies and I will listen to him until the day I die.

Might I add that your voice took me home from many a gig in the wee hours of the morning. Jeff Golub will be missed but the genius of the music he left us with, will outlive us all.
