This song makes me sad and all the sad things in my life come to the surface. It's such a beautiful song, and his voice is just perfect for this song.

First heard this from the movie Sunshine. I love this stone and that movie has been one of my top favorites. But now I'm hearing it in episode 9, season 2, of Castle Rock.

i heard this song for the first time in my all time favorite movie sunshine, and had to know who was performing it. this is so fantastic! vocal is something like bob dylans but far better, cleaner.

The simpler it gets the more powerful it sounds but right after you heard it with the whole instrumentation Genius! Congrats! awesome song.

@idioteque_x16 жыл бұрын
it's pretty simple to play on guitar, i figured it in about a minute and especially when you can watch and see what he's playing. verses are Am x2, Dm x2, Am, E, Am and E again with a little simple bass like riff between every chord on low e string. and chorus is Am, G/Am, F#/Am, F, Am, E, Am. hope i helped.

along the avenue of hope the footsteps falter, fingers grope and the days, stretch out beneath the sun no-one's born, no-one dies, no-one loves, so no-one cries and we wait to see just what we will become don't let me falter, don't let me ride don't let the earth in me subside let me see just who i will become you're like the clouds in my home town you just grow fat, and hang around and your days, stretch out beneath the sun no-one's born, no-one dies, no-one loves, so no-one cries and we wait to see just what we will become don't let me borrow, don't let me bring don't let me wallow, don't make me sing let me see just who i will become don't let me falter, don't let me hide don't let someone else decide just who or what i will become don't make 'em borrow, don't make 'em bring don't let them wallow, don't let them sing let them stretch out beneath the sun

Am I the only one who thought this was Bob Dylan they first time they heard it?

I really forced myself to watch "Sunshine" all the way to the end. Another stupid sci-fi with the most ridiculous idea behind it. Just an absolute crap... But as I left the room, just before the final captions, I heard this song which made me return to my place immediately where I sat and listened to this beautiful song, watching those captions... I replayed that final part 3 or 4 times. Now how can I not thank that stupid movie for helping me discover this beautiful song!

Me too. I heard it in the end credits of "Sunshine" just now and ran to the computer to Google it. The other choice was "Peggy Sussed" by Underworld, but this seemed more the one to check out first. Love the background riff. I'll have to check out I Am Kloot, haven't heard of the group until this movie.
@drsick272715 жыл бұрын
Although the voice resembled Dylan, the composition sounds like a Leonard Cohen song.
