It takes some practice, at first. Eventually, you find guns that you vibe with and start to learn their firing pattern. When I first started, I was missing so much and didn’t know the codes for my stratagems. I still don’t know all of them, but I spend time trying to memorize the ones that I do like

Tough call. I've found the best ballistic shield loadout for me is one where I don't take it.

I like running it with the defender submachine gun, grenade pistol, and thermite grenades. It exploding crossbow is also excellent with it.
