You don't even need to mop up for blood lilies in 74-80 content because it's massively DPS positive to use misery even on single target! Just burn those blue lilies! (Yes I know featured dungeon is too low level for it)

I just let them play & offer advice if they say something describing the task being hard to which I tell them the boss mechanic. I like sharing my knowledge with other people. It helps water the sprouts but they still need to pay regular prices at the mb, thats just how it goes. If someone asks me for money, I will give them it, even if its a million gil if I have it.

I went the opposite direction. Enjoyed the Chaos until I realised just how simple things actually are in FFXIV and how easily people still fuck it up. Needless to say, I don't touch roulette without a premade group... Not that I need to anyway. All classes at 90.

Doing the bare minimum is hitting medica II then regen & cure if its needed, then keep that up & mix in some attack spells. Its why I like arr dungeons, you can survive on cure.

its worse when the tank isnt pulling aggro well, and you pull the mob. i've gotten surprised too many times and been downed after suddenly stealing. OTOH Floor Tank is the best tank.

tanking hullbreaker as DRG aint that bad because ARR DRG is basically an offtank with no taunt. There is a reason why DRG is included in the tank item list for ARR gear. But i managed to tank Cerberus in WoD as a Ninja. Meaning 3 tanks failed to do their job in what is probably the hardest lvl 50 sync content available in roulettes. But hey, I lived long enough to flee into the belly. And then some poor sprout got to tank because he had no clue what was going on.

I had an opposite experience with a Warrior in Sirensong Sea. The Warrior had their stance on. Problem was they refuse to AOE, so it's getting the rest of the party in trouble or just straight killed. Especially the healer. When we pointed it out, the Warrior then proceeds to mock us DPS about how we're not doing our jobs right because we're not doing enough damage to rip the aggro off of him. After that, we just looked for an opportunity to kick the guy. We did. And the kicker? The healer was either their friend or FC mate.

Was running in a level 90 alliance raid as RDM and all of the members In one of the 3 parties kept typing in "Tank stance use it", we asked why they put it in alliance chat and they said the person was not listening to them, hopefully he will listen when another 16 people chime in. It's not uncommon when you can buy your experience levels and never actually learn what the skills are for.

It's tab or R1 while in the chatbox. You can use it while blank to get all the options including a bunch of phrases, or use it with something written to get a list based off what yout wrote.

Not the issue of forgetting due to level sync if it's not on your level and but on a lower level dungeon stances are automatically removed reguardless if your still on the level you can use it and leads to some forgetting or not realizing this

Maybe i get lucky but leveling can get bad rarely at low levels do to a game issue not giving jobs skills that should be in game. Example all jobs should have an AOE from lv 15 onward. They were randomly making ideas before it became a solid plan and it shows.

Good god this drives me nuts as a Sprout. I'll have it on and then do a lower level dungeon and it's off when I get in and I forget to turn it back on. It's the level synch from what I understand that shuts it off upon entering the instance.

Tell me you don't know how to play white mage xD you shouldn't be spamming heals, you should be mostly spamming Holy. In a 60 dungeon for example, as you run to the wall you can tab target and DoT mobs, then you can Regen the tank just before they reach the wall (while still running), drop an Asylum next to the wall, swiftcast into a holy+weave Assize and PoM, then keep holy spamming while the tank is targeted. When the tank gets low, drop your Tetra, if they get low again, drop your Bene. You want to be using OGCd heals while spamming Holy, not stood around waiting to cure II. I see so many WHM not using Holy it makes me sad.

@@Hirotoro4692 In theory yes, in practice no. most tanks ive had in that level bracket have been completely ineffective at managing their cooldowns and will 100% die unless you keep 100% uptime on Cure 2 casts. its not about whats possible its about whats practical based on the people you have to work with. in my experience anything below 60 gets straight healing. theres no time for dots, there might be a small window of time for a few holys before the stun effect finally stops working. OTherwise its healing until you get to a boss, then you can start doing damage to the boss. the trash in 60- dungeons will kill you more times than any boss would and the odds of any random players you get grouped with being able to properly identify which trash mobs flatten you and slow down accordingly to kill them more smoothly is slim to none.
