The P-51 was not used in the Pacific Theater until 1944. Therefore, this would not have been an average pacific dogfight in 1943. Furthermore, an average dogfight involving P-51s in the Pacific Theater would have most likely featured the P-51D, not a P-51C as shown in this video, as the P-51D was much more common. Also, the A6M2 Model 11 was the first version of the Zero, first produced in 1940. This model of the Zero would have most likely been out of production and not in service by 1943.
