Ma'am, I have seen most of the doctors who get into IIM ABC get into summer internships at McKinsey, BCG and they even get into consulting roles in these companies later on. Hardwork plus strategies is what is needed to get into IIMs. Only hard-work isn't sufficient!! I did put in a lot of hard-work but i failed in developing the right strategies that was needed!! One with poor Academic background ( less than 60) should think twice before applying for CAT as most of the IIMs have a minimum eligibility criteria!!
