back in the 60's my oldest sister bought this 45 with this song being on side B....day dream believer I believe was on side A...one day about 40 years or more later, after she had passed away...i found a stack of 45's she had and I had forgotten about...sure enough...there it was...my point is....some 50 years later its still as cool as it was back then....Avery just proved that.

Great song. I'm so in love with the monkees. They were very diverse in their music and each one brought a different level of talent. Great band. You sound wonderful singing. Had to take some practice to get these words at these speeds.

I’m 16 a lot of people my age hate me because 1. I play the monkees, Jackson 5, Beatles, Elvis ETC. and because I drive a 1967 mustang. Kids my age these days have to always be into the current stuff, just because it’s old doesn’t mean it sucks. Anyways life is good with that music playing in my ‘67 mustang all day!☺️

Oh wow! I have never seen this before and I've been seeking/researching covers of "Going Down" for a few years! Although this is just singing along with the Monkees recording, I have a suspicion that Avery might have other stuff that is good enough to drive me down into a rabbit hole! (Usually, SERIOUSLY, I hate when someone "sings/plays along" with a record... but this time, I enjoyed the overdubbed/added effort!
