His voice is an instrument and he manipulates it as such. Not many can convey, story, ability, passion, design, spirituality, love, desire, fire, and just good ass singing anymore. Awesome Avery! A true fan.

People comment as if his runs are excessive and annoying. You have to think of it as a mark of skill. If you heard a sax, or a guitar, or a piano moving around that quickly and that accurately, you'd say "wow". But because we attach his personality with his voice, we say "stop showing off". Stay true, and realize that he is showing an incredible sense of musicianship.
@gracielavelazquez99927 жыл бұрын
completely disagree cause it is annoying. Balance and dynamics is key to . and a lot of people don't seem to get that. people obviously don't know talent if they think the reckless guy is good .

Listen to Lalah Hathaway sing her fathers song,. He takes away from the melody with all the excessive runs, . Its like putting to put much seasoning on food the food wont be good anymore. Luther said it Best and Luther could out riff anyone. At the end of the day Tone wins over excessive riffing any day. Dude has an amazing voice all day long but his musicianship needs work. He never lets a song breathe, he puts a riff in every space
@ntheblinkofni6 жыл бұрын
Hot damn Zach! couldn't have said it better, as a matter of fact, couldn't have said it at all, so I'm so glad you had such a great way of explaining that.
@alphonseester15176 жыл бұрын
The reason people say it’s annoying, because the song usually doesn’t need it. Perfect example, Donny did NOT do a lot of riffs & runs, because his voice just captured you no additives

I've been so many places in my life and time I've sung a lot of songs I've made some bad rhymes I've acted out my life in stages With ten thousand people watching But we're alone now And I'm singing this song to you I know your image of me Is what I hoped to be I treated you unkindly But darling, can't you see? There's no one more important to me Baby, can't you see through me? 'Cause we're alone now And I'm singing this song to you You taught me precious secrets Of a true love withholding nothing You came out in front when I was hiding Now I'm so much better And if my words don't come together Listen to the melody 'Cause my love is in there hiding I love you in a place Where there's no space or time I love you for my life You're a friend of mine And when my life is over Remember when we were together We were alone And I was singing this song to you I love you in a place Where there's no space or time I love you for my life You're a friend of mine And when my life is over Remember when we were together We were alone And I was singing this song to you We were alone And I was singing this song to you We were alone And I was singing this song, mm Singing this song to you

I dont care how much garbage there is out there.. i love good vocals (which is why i dont listen to garbage) it's no doubt that he can sing.. but knowing how much to give a song is an art.. he oversings, it's not necessary.. we KNOW he can sing.. no need to make us dizzy with all those runs
@jmateen18 жыл бұрын
RyTy Jay_ thing is. His runs fit damn near flawlessly where he put 90% of them. He overdid it towards the end but the man is only 20 and Clive Davis is putting him around the same people he put Whitney around in terms of vocal training.

As a singer when you know you have a voice you will go over board to test your range and go new heights because I’m 16 and I can sing very well and I do runs like this because I want to see if I can do better and perfect my voice Avery was given this voice to show it off and to some people say oh he’s over doing his Riffs and Runs are probably the people that can’t do the same thing because the song I practice on is The National Anthem because it help me to figure out the right note and my heights you guys need to lighten up and stop getting mad because he can sing better than you if you could sing like him you would do the same thing so stop it we need more singers like him and singers like him are very underrated for Example Jasmine Sullivan she is Overly underrated but her voice is one of the most powerful and beautiful voices of this generation and she does the same thing
