Guys stop comparing J-Pop to K-pop and saying J-pop is copying K-pop. It seriously is annoying. K-pop doesn't own a certain type of music, it just specializes in pop hence its name! E-Girls are just more mature that a lot of other j-pop girl groups such as AKB48.

Dutch person here. l have to say that the electronic pop music l hear on the radio in my country really does not sound that different from this, apart from the language. lf it was an English language song, it could potentially be a big hit here! Furthermore these sexy and cool type of videos are also pretty much the standard in western pop music videos. K-pop is also similar to western pop like this. l guess this is the sort of global standard for pop music nowadays, rather than the influence of one country.

ソリgalax16 I never said I was actually against anyone's opinion, and she said that she couldn't find any girl groups that dance like this not just jpop groups, but girls generation was also in the jpop business having their own japanese album.
@christinechon24648 жыл бұрын
ソリgalax16 girls generation earlier songs like gee have a very similar tune and theme to many jpop songs. But, that's not my point, I didn't bring it up so I could bring kpop into jpop, I'm just talking about multiple girl groups that can dance really well like e girls. If anything ur creating a fan war right now for bring up such a silly and stupid topic
@lucywagner34968 жыл бұрын
ソリgalax16 Accurate! :) GG's dancesteps are quite simple unlike EG"s steps are really hard to do
@christinechon24648 жыл бұрын
peejay casino Girls generation are based more upon teamwork. In girls generation dances, no two parts are actually identical which can make it difficult to learn as a group, while for E Girls all their steps are identical where they can learn the same steps. But another thing is that when E Girls Dance, u can switch the parts of two members and may not even notice the difference. E girls songs tend to have a fast beat so when they dance, they have to dance with rhythm, and they have many members, so if u add that up all together, ,alif looks intersting. But for snsd, they work as a team, rely on each other for proper formation. each dance is specifically designed for each song and each member, telling a story. Catch me if you can and I Got a Boy is a really good example. I can't say that E Girls can't dance, because they can, but, looking at the dance in detail i will say, that I have seen other groups like snsd, dance just as well or even better. Groups like Kara (Mamma Mia and Pandora) and Gfriend (Me Gustas Tu and Glassbead) which I could have made an equally as strong argument for both.
@christinechon24648 жыл бұрын
ソリgalax16 e girls have syncorozation, but that's as far it gets. Think of it like this, e girls dancing is easy to learn, hard to master, while for girls generation, it's hard to learn but easy to master. E girls is obviously a dancing group, not everyone is a vocalist, while for snsd, dancing is of course a requirement being under the kpop business and company sm, but it is not there main priority. And e girls is an idol group to, they do idol group style dancing. But being an idol dancer is not a bad thing, groups like snsd and kara (groups that are HUGE in Japan) exo bts and twice are also idol dancers, excellent dancers. My point wasn't to bring kpop into this, but to mention other girl groups who are excellent dancers, if anything ur the one who wanted to get into to detail and label them as kpop and jpop, even though many of the groups I named have been in the jpop business. Looks like ur weeaboo bubble popped, having a narrow mind talking without any supporting facts, just insisting pointless things with incorrect numbers. Weeaboos like u annoy me, talking without seeing the bigger picture. Btw e girls have THREE subunits, u forgot Dream

"OMG! They're ripping off Kpop!" Yeah, because a bunch of girls dancing in a music video and singing a pop song has NEVER been done before, right? As a fan of music all over the world, I don't understand all these comparisons, especially when everyone's just reinventing the wheel at the end of the day. But for Kpop fans who INSIST on making the comparison, you can't deny that if you made these girls dance next to pretty much any Kpop group, E-girls would blow them out of the water. They go hard with their choreo.

Actually Kpop idol system in korea was inspired from Japan's idol concept. If I'm not mistaken JPOP did this whole idol concept thing before KPOP.

Umm…You know,this original song was made in 80’s by Ryuichi Sakamoto(Japanese composer) Also,this kind of girls idol group was first made in Japan(morning musume!) So Jpop is developing originally ,never copied Kpop. Sorry for my poor English!

Speed(Japanese idol) came before MM. I will say MM is in the middle. MM starts graduation ceremony for GG-Idol, but they're not the first Idol group. And also, Speed is perfect in both dancing and singing. While MM is better in variety show, but Speed is better in term of dancing and singing quality.

this was the song that made me fall in love with them... Until this day, they have been the first J-pop artists I have truly stanned, back in the time, this felt like the most important thing I missed in my entire existence, it is really saddening that they will be no longer promoting as a whole group, bc I won't ever be able to forget what they've made to my musical preference, I will keep supporting all members equally in their solo activities, I pray for them to be able to shine even brighter in their future careers and personal lifes💖
I've a feeling that Japanese music industry should promote their music oversea from the start. They don't promote and didn't post their PV in youtube like other countries that's why a lot of foreigner who didn't follow Japanese music closely always think that Jpop is all about cutesy stuff, or AKB48 blah blah blah. They have a lot of strong dancers, talent singers who never make me disappoint in their live performance. But they just stick in their country for a long time and they promote themselves after Kpop boom, and people just think that Jpop copy Kpop... Good dancer/singer=Kpop, Bad or mediocre singer/dancer=Jpop. I think before anyone comment, please learn about music industries from each countries, or at least ask with proper manner and good word. Don't judge them if you don't know anything. Jpop and Kpop are talent, their music industry, WTH!! they're really different. Japanese and Korean language sound not the same at all and it's very easy to identify. (Sigh) Please know that English is not everything!!!!! Even you don't learn other language but at least you should be able to identify the sound.

The thing I've noticed about the Japanese music industry, it seem they Don't Want foreign fans!!! Every time you find a Jpop, Jrock of Jjazz video you like on KZbin, it's GONE a month later. The Japanese record Co's made KZbin take it down. If we can't get access to their music = NO FANS!!!
