You probably remembered Avi from Pentatonix ; ) He used to be the bass singer there. This would make n awesome game trailer/teaser.

I actually tweeted ubisoft recently this song and told them this needs to make it in the trailer of the new assassins creed game they are working on that takes place in viking times

Great Reaction, all the vocals on the song are Avi, the harmonies, the deep bass every 4th beat and of course the bass ummms. (He was the bass formally for PTX) just a little tambourine, organ, percussion Thanks for the reaction.

Thanks for the reaction. I lost it when you said about Aquaman and Jesus having a baby!!! Truth is that Avi is very handsome. But he's also a great vocalist and musician. You might also consider reacting to "Otherside" and "The Summit" also by Avi Kaplan. They're both new songs.

*watches Billy get chased by, and then hide from tigers instead of Vikings while enjoying the song* Auqaman and Jesus had a baby..... That's a new one Him looking like Jesus has always been said

Since he is Jewish/of the tribe or Judah and Jesus was also of that tribe, the resemblance may be genetic.

Yes and very insulting to a Jewish man people are very dense.

Yeah, but the comparisons between him and Jesus were mostly from when Jesus kept his beard trimmed shorter.

I love this! It is so pagan feeling. Reminds me of when I was in a coven and celebrating around a fire.....good times.

He might be (and is) Jewish, but his music makes it clear that he has the soul of a Pagan.
@sarahgould54353 жыл бұрын
@@professionalvampire1 Ummmm...virtually every image he invoked was direct from the Torah. The fire of the Spirit, the breath of God, the necessity of holding up the light to fend off the darkness, going down the river, the possibility of losing your soul, the Jubilee...basically, the whole song could be a restatement in metaphor of Joshua 1:9, which is often mistaken for an *offer of* courage based on a promise of help and inevitable victory when it is actually a *command followed by* a promise of aid and ensured victory. The only thing making this song a broad encouragement rather than an outright hymn is that he does not expressly name either the light, the change, or the enemy.

I noticed that you had pronounced his first name wrong, and it is perfectly fine. It is pronounced "Ah-vee" And you most likely know him from the a capella group Pentatonix. He was the original Bass singer, butter he decided he wanted to split from the group, but as far as I know he still has cordial contact with the group

Seriously, you said where do I know this guy from? If you look back I'm sure the vast majority of requests from this song came from reactions to Pentatonix. Avi was the bass in Pentatonix until 2017 when matt took his spot because of Avi left for personal reasons, but on good terms, with Pentatonix. Every sound you hear every word you hear every note Every everything is avi. The song has always struck me as something you might hear in the show sons of anarchy when they are gearing up and starting up their bikes to go and Fight Another motorcycle club. The song is about his journey coming back from depression. Relisten to the song knowing that it is about Depression which robs you of everything you have. It literally sucks the life out of you. But it still was a really good reaction. You are 1 of my favorite reactors and 1 of the 1st ones I subscribed to.

You say that a man who has lost his soul is nothing good? I respectfully disagree. There is nothing more dangerous than a man who has lost or sold his soul for a reason that's so selflessly right that both Heaven and Hell back him without question.
