I knew this Song was about the Love of this family , especially between Mom&Dad, but seeing Avia sing the lyrics like that, with that much heartache, power and well, deep Love, made it so much more powerful. Love can totally be chosen. When we were kids, we romanticized love as something that just happens and sweeps you off your feet and is uncontrollable. And it is sometimes, especially when you're young or in the beginning of a relationship. However, at some point things get hard and aren't how they used to be. Choosing to stay and love is much more noble. Choosing to love every single day takes strength.

I'm fighting with my mom every day but I don't want to. I never had a mother daughter relationship that i can remember but I get really envious when I see the way Colette connects with her kids because I haven't got that connection with my own mother. I lack the motherly love instead I get left alone because she's always in her room or I'm told to do chores when I just start to relax. It's a vicious cycle of hate. I have a father daughter relationship but barely. He gets angry when I get in his way or make a small mistake. His irregular behaviour has me distrusting the fact he loves me. I thankfully can talk to someone but they keep telling me to talk to them. However I'm too scared to mention I had been talking to them to my counsellor in a bad light let alone how they make me feel! This music video has given me some ideas how do build a bridge to make mine and my mother's relationship a positive one and to help my dad understand how his behaviour effect me.

I've only just heard this but I've just cried my heart out! Well done! I've been watching The Shaytards for about 6 years now and check up on you guys every now and then. This song is beautiful! Every family goes through so much from time to time but rarely do our troubles get put out there so much into the public eye as much as yours have. This song and video shows that despite everything you all have been through, your love for each other and the resilience you have as a unit annihilates any negativity you may have received and any trials you have been through. I have a little family of my own and your family influences how I raise my children. I'm not a perfect mother, I make mistakes, we argue and life can be heartbreaking at times but nothing comes close to how much I love my family. “Remember when we were a happy family” that got to me, me and my family use to be happy when I was younger then the moment me and brother got older our family started falling apart, I never realised how meaningful this song to Avia was, and for me to hear this and hunk back to when I was younger with a happy family, and that I’m 18, with anxiety, depression and anger issues my family have just fallen apart, I never realised how much family meant to me until my 18th Birthday, I should of realised that they meant so much to me when I was younger, thank you for this beautiful song Avia, I can’t wait to hear more, keep doing what you’re doing because you are gonna become a successful person when you are older, again thank you for this beautiful song ❤️
