I think everyone has a different personality when it comes to being able to do long distance or being away from home or living alone etc. I knew people in college that freaked out at the idea of not having a roommate, while others were stressed that they were going to HAVE a roommate. Avia has always been a really independent person and that's why it was easier for her to transition to living in an apartment alone states away from her family. You also get used to it when you're focused on pursuing your dreams and know the sacrifices will be worth it in the end.

You're a great big sister, a great role model, you have some great parents to teach you how to be responsible. respectful, kind, loving, etc. I wanted to share something with you. I'm indigenous from Washington state. I just wanted to share with you that when we leave, like to the store or back to school or somewhere and we leave our friend, family, anyone. I never say "goodbye" only cause its so final. We as indigenous was brought up to say, "see you'. I just thought i'd share it with you. This is my thought and practices.
