It depends on the paint. Sometimes you can remove it with isopropyl or denatured alcohol. Sometimes it just wont come off

Great job. How many low pile towels do you go through when you use no rinse to wash an average size plane?

So in full disclosure, since I polish right after washing, I am not too worried about getting everything perfectly dry and streak free, so in this case maybe 2-3. It also helps to have higher GSM towels (I use 300GSM) which are more absorbent

I’ve heard that Release is very corrosive on aluminum

I clean my polished aluminum luscombe with it and it won’t even marr the polished surface like most high alkaline soaps

no, No-rinse has no foaming abilities

And forgot to mention Simple Green extreme for aviation, also will do the job same as release ultra (which is hard to get where I live)

Just get Release Ultra. Way better than simple green. Simple green leaves a lot of residue which can attract dust/dirt etc

Why can't you just wash it with a hose running spot free water?
