Blue Angels Pensacola NAS 3/30/22

Blue Angels high show practice over Pensacola. Baxter, last years lead solo pilot performed his fini flight today and flew along with the team. We got to see a 3 ship section high alpha pass, a 6 ship line abreast flat pass, and a few extra sneak passes. Please comment and subscribe.

Sure do miss seeing those guys! NAS Pensacola is now closed to the general public. Meaning that you can't visit the museum or see the Blue Angels practice unless you are active duty, reserve, retired, have a DOD ID badge, or know someone that lives on base. All of this is due to the terrorist shooting years ago and COVID-19.

Best fini flight any pilot could ask for. Must’ve felt good doing the sneak pass with Chewy who is now the #5 jet. Each had the best sneak passes in that position now they both did it together. Best sneak pass ever

They will never do that, The F-35B is the only variant that does VTOL and it belongs to the Marines. The F-35C belongs to the navy

If you've got an iPhone 11, 12 or 13, or a Samsung Galaxy even since 2019, you should be able to capture everything in binaural stereo, and that would be super! The GoPro, (if that's what you're using), really compromises on the audio quality, although the latest model does have this capability to record in binaural stereo. It just doesn't do very well with loud noise, and sometimes, the audio goes really "flat", as it misses that "like I'm there" quality that's so important to these videos. Do you have this, or do you plan to acquire the equipment to do this?

OK.. Im confused. Why would Baxter still be with the team? He wasnt out at winter training. He should be with a fleet squadron by now.

A lot the 2017 crew stayed, bernachi, walleye and Bubb to help with the super hornet transition. Baxter didn’t go back to the fleet last year and Bubb is still with the team.

It was the former lead solo Baxter's final flight with the squadron. Baxter has been with the Blues for longer than pilots usually are because of the Super Hornet transition and he probably knows the demonstration as well as anyone right now...so they gave him a great final flight. He's in a single seat Super Hornet flying along with the team one last time.
