Whilst 'All You Need Is Love' is a good song, these vocals suit the instrumental better personally.

Avicii made the instrumental with the main idea of using Smokey Robinsons vocals that’s why it suits the song better, but he couldn’t get the vocal passed for release so he had to use the instrumental and find an original vocal for it.
