Yes, Irish, Gaeilge, sometimes called Irish Gaelic.

@@Daniel-en1on My "orange" Irish ancestors would be unfamiliar with the language, although my Scots ancestors from the Highlands might understand it (I am told). I have never heard the language referred to as "Irish", only the people, as in (American) "English" language and "American" nationality. I will remember this can be one use of the word. Thanks!

@@herstoryswitness In Ireland the language is usually called just Irish or Gaeilge. Scotland has Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) which is often just called Gaelic. The Isle of Man has its own Manx Gaelic too. Welsh, Cornish and Breton are distant relatives of the Gaelic languages and are all considered Celtic languages.

@@Daniel-en1on Feasgar M'hath again! Thanks for the education on your local customs. In the US, we generally say "Irish Gaelic," and "Scots Gaelic " to distinguish. My cousin has Welsh ancestry but I know very little about Wales. Love this music and a fan of the music out of Nova Scotia too, like MacKeel was. My mixed roots are showing, but I just subscribed to hear more, more!👍 🎶🎵
